well, yes, the game is made around bots.
no, there are also other gamemodes without bots ( such as Lone Fighters in custom games ).
no the game is just full of pretty awful people. The forums will give you a good taste of the average IQ and it absolutely directly translates in game. Been playing long enough to have seen most of the forum users here in game and unsurprisingly few are actually good.
(everyone here will tell you they are PRO MLG EXTREME gamer GOD though.)
