I’ve noticed while playing lately that often when I lay down a rally point in a strange place like attics or other ladder access areas, floors with no access other than climbing, some corners behind rubble and other such harder to access areas. That often half the team will spawn on it with the entire squad becoming stuck like AI not finding a path to get down/out. Like not just some players squadmates but the entire squad itself. This has lead to some very bad experiences where I’ll lay down a awesome flanking rally point that would normally having our team take the objective immediately, but instead just to find out that nearly my entire team gets stuck in one spot for the rest of the game and a heavy lose. I’ve gone on to continue fighting the entire enemy virtually alone and end up just leaving the match. This has happened many times recently. This is very frustrating and disheartening when I commit to match after match just to find out halfway through the tickets that my team except for a few are not even players. When I check the scoreboard the names often in a full match are all about the average looking player names. So I’m not sure if it’s players botting or gaijin filling in the gaps with bots. The names and accounts don’t look particularly botty. Plus gaijin makes their bots obvious, with simple common first names?
Intentionally stuck all the other allied bot, call this a progamer move and…
Complain about it…
Sir im hope you are only trolling
On farm map in normandy I once build rally point near/underneath the some kind of cistern/empty water tank. Half of my team spawned into it. Only way to get out was suicide. It was kinda hilarious, not intended tho.
Yeah I’ve had to switch to building them in more open areas to avoid it. Often getting spotted and killed. It sucks. I’ve single handedly won many a game in clutch at the brink of loss just with a cunning last minute placement. Back when players would actually spawn and hop down/out to attack/defend. Now I’m stuck with building in a bad obviously visible easy access area like a goddamned troglodyte.
English please
Sorry if i hurt your feeling, but dont expect to come on the forum be prouding of stuck all your team bot in attic or in very small place"a lot of time" calling it “a pro gamer move” and expect
(Yea you have rigth bro
)
So if you are serius and after
You keep stuck all of your team bot, you have some problem to understand the current limit of enlisted AI pathfinding
Jesus Christ he’s so close to realizing that he’s the problem but he’s not all the way there.
So the majority of the squads on a team don’t have a player leader?
right so.
i presume you are new.
forgive my " colleagues " behavior.
anyway, there isn’t exactely a " botting wave ".
or anything of that kind.
there are simply Bots and players.
Bots , are type of squads primarely made out of Ai soldiers that acts like players.
and then, you have players. active players like you that have Ai soldiers as well.
the problem that you described is somewhat of a AI path finding.
so, in the future, i highly suggest you to not put rally points in / on attics, high positions, or generally not a clear path for AI to reach the objective.
because as you experienced, AI ( both players and Ai bots ) are not able to jump down or find a way when there’s hight / obstacles involved )
my recommendations, are to often place it where theres at least Stairs ( NOT LADDERS. since AI are not able to climb those ) or at the first/base level ground.
so no one will get stuck and potentially harm the match.
not necessarily your fault, but since there are no other way, try to be carefull and place them accordingly with this knowledge
yes
My brother in Enlisted,
If you noticed this happening MULTIPLE TIMES, you should have gotten a clue that you SHOULDN’T be doing that if you want to avoid said result.
Furthermore, while there are indeed full AI squads that will get stuck no matter what, also player controlled ones will, unless the player manually takes control of each bot and personally lead them out one by one. Which is tedious with large squads, so most players will often just go solo and switch to the next bot when killed.
In conclusion,
=SPOILER AHEAD=
Summary
Just DON’T build your rallies in attics or cramped spaces
Well, I guess so. I wasnt aware there were also entire squads botted. I just figured each squad had a player. I’ve had these rally points do great before, perhaps on campaigns with more player controlled squads.
Sadly yes. The best way to avoid this problem is to place your rally points on the ground in a mostly unobstructed area. Bots are extremely stupid and some players are too. But at least you are building rally points which is more than I can say for some of my teammates!
Full bots squad build rallypoint or ammobox, if you dont see enginer score after 10m it mean is a player
