Today I found out that the bots are able to escape from area of artillery barrage, which is very cool to see. But I would like to suggest some improvements in that matter.
Right now is has more priority for them to purely escape from the “red circle” instead of looking fo cover. I noticed that if they are placed inside bunker for example and then artillery comes - they will stay inside. That is good.
But when they are placed in front of bunker and then bombed - they will run away ignoring the cover than bunker provides.
It would be better for them to go into bunker first instead of standing out in the open.
Another problem are the trenches - bots don’t consider them as cover in any matter. They will just run away if the artillery barrage is dropped on the trench, which could be exploited to lure the AI out. It would be great for them to prioritaze staying in trenches, not only under artillery fire, but also in other situations.
Anyway you do the good job on the AI. They may not be perfect, but are definetely improving. Keep it up, devs.
