If there is a free rally point, then bots should use it.Otherwise, they go from afar and lose time, which could save the defense \ attack.

Actually them not using it is at times is helpful. While the enemy shoots the bots coming straight at them the humans use the rally and flank splitting their attention

Maybe program bots so that they appear on the flank where there are fewer allies.
This screenshot shows that the bots are coming from the same flank but longer.And this is more often.

Also it would make it far easier for enemies to discover as they typically travel the shortest distance towards the objective.
