make bots always BE BEHIND YOU, no matter what when your crouching, or taking cover, anything that obv makes you want to take cover, such as using a wall or sandbags, NO ONE, in any war or conflict, WILL ever go in front of THEIR COMMANDER, in ENEMY LINES, so should bots, its ridiculous that my bots just stand, there doing nothing WHILE in enemy lines, when i clearly DONT WANT THEM TOO, for example: when i defened or attak, and i take cover, NO ONE OF MY SQUAD should be IN FRONT OF ME STANDING, esp since i ordered them to BE BEHIND ME!

Geez, I hate that too. They just shield the enemies from me. The enemy sees me and my squad and wipes us out. You know, the worst part is that the developers had already fixed this issue a while ago, but somehow they broke it again, and now we’re back to the same problem. It seems like ‘one step forward, one step back’ is the developers’ principle

Yeah what happened to the AI becoming smarter? If anything they got dummer. Sometimes I wish I could wipe my own squad out…
You go to build a MG nests and the morons as if on Q run over to the spot you are building and if that isn’t bad enough, they alert the enemy where you are at by doing so… The fix is have a different engineer make it for you if you happen to have two. But then your MG is finished and you Mount the gun… Your squad then gets this ingenious idea to start jumping up and down and climbing over your MG nests. You break off and send them somewhere else and when you get back on the gun, the morons come running back again.

I noticed bots started running in front of me more after that patch where they changed the AI to take up more defensive locations. Maybe a month or two ago. I think it has something to do with that update as it didn’t happen before as much at all.
