For the love of Pete, will the Dev’s do something about the awful bots in this game, they just ruin the fun. I am NOT asking for Rambo, Seal Team 6 warriors or even a bot that can shoot straight. I am asking for bots with the very minimal COMMON SENSE! Is that too much to ask for for crying out loud, or is bot technology that far above the Dev’s expertise?
1: Make them ACTUALLY stay where we tell them to stay. I tell them to stay, order them to be close and yet in a seven man rifle squad, five or six of them always go outside, or stand IN FRONT OF A DOOR OR WINDOW. What is the point of saving them when they have NO basic common sense to save themselves.
2: Make them RUN when WE RUN! Mine are always 50-100 meters behind and 60-70% of them die before ever getting to the battle area.
3: Make them enter a building the SAME way I enter the building, not run around the building to use the front door where the enemy is waiting.
4: Have them STOP running in front of me while I am shooting or tossing an explosion pack. Basic common sense, nothing more, nothing less.
Should the Dev’s fix the bots and at least give them basic common sense?
Devs should take notes from easy red 2. The bots arent perfect there either but at least they spread out in objectives and automatically go to trenches, behind walls and in windows when defending
I think the only thing you can count on them doing is, running away if someone throws a nade at them. Other than that, it’s a lottery to how they behave lol
What I would love to have at least is them shooting in same direction as you do. In similar way how tank MGs follow the main turret aim. They already can copy you by crouching or going prone when you do, so why not with shooting? Most of them prefer to admire walls and ceilings instead of being actually helpful
As regards Bots, though, I play my game around them. I hide them up, playing the most productive one that I need most at the time of battle. I do my best not to let them bother me. My biggest concern is that they don’t all get killed within 1 minute of me spawning, so’s that I can keep up the fight
Yeah, I can almost guarantee you that none were fixed and they were just blowing smoke up our asses. I didn’t know about the grenades breaking and SUPPOSEDLY going through windows. Everything that I toss seems to break the glass, yet they never penetrate past the window sill. Even when I try and launch a mortar round from my Ariska or RMN-50 they just blow up at the glass, not penetrate through it. So I waste one round just to get rid of the glass so I can launch another through it.
