Give players with historical stups (all equipment from 1 campaign) Sight boost for XP and currency (~20%)
This way, there will be more HA setups and therefore soft rule will find HA matches more often.

i think they gonna deliver proper improvements of custom games for that matter and keep main game the way it goes. I’d be cool with that especially if they were to expand custom mission tools so that you could’ve made more complex game scenarios.
Custom matches are custom matches.
But when it’s possible to encourage players to make matches more HA accurate, without punishing them is they don’t want, why not to do it?

Give me great maps like tractors factory and I wouldn’t care about being 100% historical accurate

Well its an rpg thing. Gave you buff for wearing a full set of armor. and im guessing, your idea for this suggestion is to reward players for bringing the historical accurate gear into that time period it was on ?

i don’t remember you being in favor for HA.
but, that’s a yes from me.
I’m in favor for HA as long as they don’t want to cut out 90% of content from the game, or organize 100+ queues to play with bots only.
that’s why the solution lays in a 2nd matchmaker more somewhat leaning on the realism rather than monkery.
at least, imo.

historical setup =/= balance
