In pacific where the planes have lowest fire power, they absolutely wreck your plane.
In normandy and berlin where most op fire power planes exist, they pretty much do nothing.
Shouldnt it be the opposite ?
The Planes themselves also aren´t as armoured as they are in those campaigns. You could take down the starter planes by small arms for afterall.

That’s not true, lol. Few months back, I was hunting merican aircraft with my Ju-88. It was pretty efficient.
Well, here it should be noted that the creators did their homework. American and British bombs slam into the soft ground and an explosion engulfs the ground. The Japanese designed their bombs so that they would not stick into soft ground. An example of this is that the American accounts of the Japanese bombings tell of Japanese bombs bouncing off solid ground.
When it comes to aircraft cannons, Japan has more powerful armament due to the fact that two of their attack aircraft do not have offensive machine guns.
Some planes are completely bugged to where some planes simply don’t shoot back and are easy pickings.
