Bolt-Action Rifle and Vitality Perk rework

Ive proposed a rework for the Vitality Perk as well as bolt action rifles.

Damage without Vitality: Carbines, Long-Rifles and Sniper Rifles one shot regardless of where your hit and at what range.

Damage with Vitality: Carbines only able to One shot 50 meters or under, Long-Rifles only able to one shot 75 metres or under, Sniper-Rifles one shot at any range. (Headshots will one shot no matter what range.

Currently, Carbines have more aim assist, higher fire rates, reload speeds, and aiming speeds than Long-Rifles, this needs to be amplified by about 25% more than long rifles! (But Carbines should also give you a +5% Run, Sprint, and Bayonet Charge Speed boost, increased flinch to wounded enemies, and have a bright muzzle blast that slightly concusses nearby enemys in front of the rifle!)

Now as for Long-Rifles, give them a further melee range than a Carbine, and as mentioned a longer 1 shot kill range.

Now as for what German weapons will be classified as Carbines since Germany lied in there weapon names to get around weapon restrictions (cough Karbiner 98 Kurz cough)

It’s not many so they could add more or make the Kar98k a Carbine even though the barrel is to long as a matter of fact we can give certain rifles the carbine treatment:

But devs could also add some new weapons to act like Carbines like a Kar98az.

Ability to turn crossplay off for PC players.

Otherwise, hard no. Unless you disable aim assist I can’t trust anything you recommend in this regard.

What are you talking about?
K98k is named this way because it’s based on pre-napoleonic era naming scheme where a shortened rifle is a carabine. And K98k was shorter than standard ww1 infantry rifle, thus a carabine according to this deffinition.

I wish it didn’t exist but feel that removing it is non-trivial. Especially (but not only) as it is involved in premium squads.

The merge would have been the time to kill that but it didn’t happen and therefore, I feel, will not happen.

Btw. I know it’s just a little off topic. But do you guys know if the reload perk for BAs is finally functional?

The faster cycling of the bolt one?
It’s so minor improvement for so much it’s not worth uaing it even if it did work.

Im pretty sure because I run the fully upgraded reload speed perk on my Assaulter 4 giving a total +24% reload speed and i notice a difference.

Doesn’t matter, there’s not much better perks in handling if you use BA. Maybe the chance of being more downed and longer grenade throw are the only better perks for BA soldier.

Nah, that’s not what I am talking. There’s second perk specifically made for bolt actions. And it doesn’t work as far as I know.

Faster melee + bayonet.
Anyway, this perk kind of works but it makes it faster by like 0.1s or sth like that.

Well it depends on the weapon, some BAs have really poor cycling and this perk could help them a lot.

But I don’t remember how much of a percentage you can have in total.
But that’s irrelevant. I just want to know if the perk is finally working.

Most of my soldiers have swords or axes.

I love me a melee.

It makes ~1s cycling 12% faster (so about 0.1s) for 12 perk points. In long range I spend more time on aiming and in cqc I rely on my bayonet. Maybe if this perk was cheaper I’d consider it but imo it’s better to take reload speed if you need more daka.
