Ive proposed a rework for the Vitality Perk as well as bolt action rifles.
Damage without Vitality: Carbines, Long-Rifles and Sniper Rifles one shot regardless of where your hit and at what range.
Damage with Vitality: Carbines only able to One shot 50 meters or under, Long-Rifles only able to one shot 75 metres or under, Sniper-Rifles one shot at any range. (Headshots will one shot no matter what range.
Currently, Carbines have more aim assist, higher fire rates, reload speeds, and aiming speeds than Long-Rifles, this needs to be amplified by about 25% more than long rifles! (But Carbines should also give you a +5% Run, Sprint, and Bayonet Charge Speed boost, increased flinch to wounded enemies, and have a bright muzzle blast that slightly concusses nearby enemys in front of the rifle!)
Now as for Long-Rifles, give them a further melee range than a Carbine, and as mentioned a longer 1 shot kill range.
Now as for what German weapons will be classified as Carbines since Germany lied in there weapon names to get around weapon restrictions (cough Karbiner 98 Kurz cough)

It’s not many so they could add more or make the Kar98k a Carbine even though the barrel is to long as a matter of fact we can give certain rifles the carbine treatment:

But devs could also add some new weapons to act like Carbines like a Kar98az.
