Body armour

Maybe millsim games but arcade shooters usually have way less.

Heroes and Generals
CS:GO
Valorant
R6S which has a high 50x multiplier

It’s actually arcady shooters like Battlefield and Call of Duty that usually have less than 2x.

Completely disagree - people calling valorant, CS and RB6S the opposite of arcade shooters disgust me.

Realism based games dont need a headshot multiplier higher than 2x - because body shots are already one or two hit kills.

Random head shot gameplay is cancer, and literally as unrealistic as possible.

You will always aim center mass in the real world. And if a game forces you to go for headshots because you need to magdump someone - then thats the actual arcade game.

Video games are action oriented rather than realistic.
Thats why fight take place at much closer distances and are basically fought till the last man standing.

So, games are not reality, we know and that is not the point either.
The point of the low headshot multiplier is to artificially keep the skill ceiling low, so very talented players that can aim for headshots and slower folk that are happy to hit the torso can play in the same lobby without the latter rage quitting.

Aiming for headshots as a requirement is bad gameplay, and has nothing to do with skill ceiling.

enlisted is one of the few games where i see that bullets are actually bullets

also if we consider the low multiplier stuff first of all ttk is faster than mean you have less time to react requires better reaction time and things like that for me a shooter where bullets are actually bullets is way harder than any other game where is not cuz doesnt matter where it hit you gonna be dead is less than a half a second
