Bigger maps for attackers, time for defenders

I think that attackers should get slighlty bigger maps in some cases. Expanding it by just a 10 meters in a direction of defenders, could provide more flanking oportunities, especially, when defenders can use a house tha is outside battlezone for attackers.

First example is attacking Lumbermill. Defenders can use house marked by circle, they have good line of fie on attackers aproaching from that direction. Attackers can move in front of the house, but not into the house itself, that makes securing it practicly imposible, until you secure lumbermill, and move map forward.

Second example is the last point, also on Forestry map. We can see, that map actually gets smaller there. Being able to aproach from the hill would be beneficial.

It could be balanced for defenders, by giving them some time to prepere defence, instead of allowing attackers to rush past them. I think, that this would allow for more options in attack, and also make defending more about prepering fortifications.

There’s also the other side of the medal with this tactic. Certainly, those taking cover in that house have an excellent defensive position, BUT! Are they ON the cap zone defending it when the attackers arrives? With such campers, it only takes a single man from the attackers rank to cap the point. Going after those campers is a pointless endeavor, as attackers should converge on point first and foremost…

If whole team camps there its obviousley bad tactic. BUT. If you put and mg squad in there, you block whole road to lumbermill. furthermore, in most cases, going only for cap is stupid, and leads to defeat. Its very good to have flanks secured, and lumbermill is a prime example. You need that white house next to it, unless you manage to rush lumbermill right after first cap. And that house is chcecked by house marked by circle. There is a barn on the other side of mill, that also blocks road, but its accesible for attackers.

Defenders need to be given time to fall back, period. Right now as soon as a point is taken its a mad dash to whoever can get to the cap zone first, which is lame and immersion-breaking. Invasion should be a simulated offensive against several “lines of defense”.

Yes, absolutely yes!

A simple grace period of even just 30 seconds for the defenders would suffice. The area could remain grey for the attackers, during this time.
