gameplay is getting boring, I mean back in the day “bolt actions” were considered useless because semi autos could do the same thing but better, now even early game smgs are overall more useful at mid range than “most” semi auto rifles.
Now either you go full auto, or you lose.
I don’t think bolt actions were ever considered useless.
Also i don’t think semi autos need a buff I’ve never had any issues using them effectively.

I’ve used the AVS a fair bit at this point, and I honestly don’t really see most of the hype. It is admittedly pretty much just an upgrade to the SVT, the recoil is about the same, the damage is the same, the spread is about the same, and you get more shots per mag and automatic mode. But, the actual automatic mode? Yeah, it has its moments where it shines, but that’s only at close range, and usually against multiple targets. 80% or more of the time, automatic mode is just a great way to draw attention to yourself and hit nothing.
Basically, I think Semi autos could use some love, or select fires some sort of nerf, not because automatic mode is so great, but because there really just isn’t any reason to take a pure semi auto over a weapon that can do that job at least as well, and has an extra situationally powerful tool as well.
Honestly though, about half the time I’m using a rifle of any sort, I still favor the winchester over any other options.
As they didn’t need a nerf before bc they were in a good balance position.
But DF wants to make things more grindy so here we are.
Bolt action useless, since when? lol.
Full auto is fun but is not the best thing ever created in the game, i won a lot of games where my enemies were full auto.
