As a Squad (YES) or just as a pre-placed vehicle you can use to get to objectives or positions quicker (NO)?

I want to ride my bicycle… I want to ride my bike…
I have had bicycles implemented, in a way I find it kind of fun, and actually usable. They are:
Easy to control
It is substantially faster than sprinting, otherwise it would be useless.
You can use your pistol to shoot from your bike, like a famous protagonist in a popular video game franchise. I have to admit, it is more suited for third person, but FPS view isn’t that bad either.
honestly its a weird quirk of ww2 that by being spawned all over urban maps would be fun especially with all the fun side arms imagine getting blown away by some guy on bike with a sawn off
tho side arms in vehicles is another interesting idea drivers of bikes jeeps and truck based apcs should so be able to draw and use their sidearms
because these things were in ww2 this era was a weird breakthrough of new technology clashing with old Calvary existed bikes in urban maps as short use transport is harmless fun
I also question those that suggest bicycles are niche or weird.
Bicycles were actually very common in WWII.
Japan especially is famous for using them in Malaya.
As well as armies confiscating civilian bicycles such as the Germans in Holland (who had to cycle back after it turned out the Allied attack wasnt coming much to their embarrassment)
I dont know about a specific squad, Id like to see them as either we just find bicycles on maps and can use them (there are already bicycles in game that we cant use).
OR
Even as an equipable item like a mine. Yes, carrying a bicycle around on your back isnt exactly realistic to ‘deploy’ but neither is heavy machine guns let alone AA or AT guns.
As the OP said its faster than sprinting, maybe if you have a large backpack you can deploy your bicycle?
