I picked this up last year. This an absolutely brutal plane. Why are cannons so lethal? I see it on other planes but not near the power. This thing lights up the entire area like a small artillery strike is the best I can describe it. The downside is not much ammo and maneuvering is like a bomber. It does have good speed though.
It is a good plane for air to ground attack indeed. The 30mm guns are more or less HE grenade launchers, very powerful against infantry.
However against planes, it is not that nimble and the low velocity of the guns makes them annoying to use against planes.
Still one of the best option at BR4.
If you get lucky and spawn behind a plane or face one off after a bomb run, it does not take but just a shot or two to knock out planes, but as you said, not that nimble. Cannot out maneuver or outrun in a ‘dogfight’
