After a while the 109 engine starts to stall, losing at least 50% power without any damage.
do you have it set to 110?
yep
then the engines are just getting overheated
then reduce it from time to time below 100%.
there is no gauge or indicator working to show why. its always after some time the plane will loose a bit of power if you keep at 110% for long.
Kep it at 90% profit
I’ll stick to the 190 then lol
nope it’s like that for all aircraft, just keep it at 90% when flying to the battle and 110% when rearming
If only controller configuration in this game wasn’t a messy wreckfest.
you can always adjust it, you know…
Trying to get things adjusted is precisely the messy wreckfest part.
Like when, to say one, my mouse and joystick inputs get apparently overridden by the gamepad inputs, despite A) me having purposefully deleted all gamepad input bindings, and B) my gamepad being not even plugged in.
I see… now I know what you mean…
I think they should have just make a map of keyboard/mouse/joystick and what their purpose in each role combat/vehicle/etc. rather than a confusing drop list…
Try flying the P-51. It dies even faster than the 109! It’s best to just keep the throttle at 90% (thus keeping the engine just below red-line) and only bump up higher than that when absolutely necessary.
Only issue I had with the 109 is that for some reason when you go to Combat on the flaps. 99% of the time for me, they get damaged. ( the flaps that is)
At least combat flaps on the 109 are sometimes useful (for me, anyway). Using combat flaps on a P-51 are a surefire way to stall.
Excessive speed?
Nope at 77% power when I put it into combat. BUT since the last patch not had this issue.
I am still not having a power lose issue, unless I have been flying the whole match. Which make since, since the plane would naturally break down.
