As for now the Bf 110 C-7 isn’t particularly a good plane to pick, the 20mm seems very attractive but with how many round you need to bring a plane down it’s a little underwhelming at the moment. The fact that I can dump ammo in a plane and I just see him smoke slightly doesn’t make me want to play it. Also the lack of a back gunner don’t do it any favors, once a plane is on your six you are basically dead, your only chance is for him to run out of ammo.

20mm isn’t strong, but you’ve got so many bullets that you can just hold the fire key and spray any IL to oblivion without any bother…

Just remove this dogshit plane so high-level players can take Ju188. It pisses me off when Americans are keeping spamming P-47 and Jumbo but someone keeping flying BF110

-.- though the one is normandy isn’t bad just that it’s that it’s at an early unlock so alot of players will unlock it and don’t know how to use it
I’m one of the BF110 pilot he hate. I fly BF110G coz it can shoot down enermy planes easily.
Yea, much easier downing a BF-110 with a P38 G stock:
1 Burst, from behind, about 200m away, headshot on pilot of BF 110. Totally not suspicious.

Still same paper thin easy to shoot down while with Soviet planes, basically a burst or two and its down.
any plane can go down easily if you aim for the wings and/or the pilot
Or engines - setting them on fire works. Often the pilot is hard to kill because he has armour and lots of structure.
But I did get one in Berlin while doing a reply about the damage model…and the video shows that it pays to be careful of a wounded foe… go to about 1:00 - the head shot happens at 1:10
i know but in context of bf110 the engines are in the wings so just saying wings would be easier
I know. Still, how come I have to empty my whole FW 190s ammo to get a P 38G down from behind even though I am flying behind it and shoot center.

i have dumped 1200 rounds of .50s into a ju-188 and he had to suicide to get out since i wasn’t giving up the chase so isn’t just the allied planes that are tanky

What about it? Not really comparable to the 110C since it lacks its 20mm cannon. They replaced the rockets with 100kg bombs which is probably a good thing - haven’t tried it since then…
