Neither are BrV material though.

BF-109K-4 is like 55km/h faster at sea level, better climb rate, power to weight ratio and better ordinance

How does the K4 compare to the BR3, P-51D5?

P-51D-5 has like 16-18m/s initial rate of climb compared to 25m/s for BF-109K-4
K-4 also has 19 sec sustained turn time vs 22 sec sustained turn time of BF-109K-4

In climb rate, in energy fighting and in turn fight and in firepower, the BF-109K-4 grossly outmatches the P-51D

Definitely do not agree with “grossly outmatches”

It’s true that the K4 is better, but the differences aren’t steep enough to justify the 3 v 5 battle rating.
