Germany (Axis) currently does not have a BR 1 fighter with one or two large bombs. People may prefer for the Bf 109 E-7/U2’s payload to be swapped from 4 50kg bombs to 1 250kg bomb, but it would likely be the strongest BR 1 fighter as a result.
Adding the Bf 109 E-1 would be a compromise: It’s only armed with 4 7.92mm offensive machine guns, but it receives the use of a 250kg bomb. This way, the plane can only rely on it’s bomb to counter ground targets, and has limited capabilities against other planes.
