Better user experience while using vehicles

It would be a great improvement when using vehicles if in the open hatch commanders view we were able to see behind the tank. At the moment the most we can do is look 90 degrees left/right.

Appreciate the likes this topic got, but think vehicle use is an important part of Enlisted game-play that should get more attention then it does.

Obviously the main focus is and should be on infantry, but vehicles still add an important layer to the immersion. After a short pause I will say that the actual driving, while it could still use improvements, seems to be much better than it was. But not being able to look behind the tank from the open hatch view is not realistic, and it reduces immersion in game play. Hope this is something the Dev’s will consider for future updates. When in the open hatch view, the commander is vulnerable from all sides and should at least be given the chance to detect threats from behind.

And to this list of vehicle improvements, I would also like to suggest improvements to the damage model. There seems to be only one (cook-off) animation representing a destroyed tank. If the first penetration doesn’t destroy the tank, it kills some crew members and the 2nd penetration to follow destroys it with a cook-off.

The issue IMO is that the time it takes to exit after taking a damaging hit should be reviewed. I’m rarely able to exit the vehicle with even just a single crew member before the 2nd hit when the first hit caused damage/killed crew members. In real life it was very common for tank crew members to be able to bail out after taking damage, and I think part of the problem in Enlisted is that the progression from damaged to destroyed is too quick. Maybe the situation could be improved if not all destroyed tanks ended in a cook-off?
