Better MM

idk if anyone else has noticed here lately but matches are starting to get plagued with sweaty players that are done with the game…dont get me wrong im up for taking my t-34-85 against a kingtiger(as im a warthunder vet). however i cant see how this is fair to newer players. i can not find any logical stand point where someone just starting the game should be facing stg-44s with their mosin nagant 1891/30s. i feel like mm doesnt really exist in the sense that favors newer players

starting to see pricks running full squads of nade launchers/ impact nades, or just small assaulter squads with only the smgs
and it is disgusting

As someone who’s completed more than 3,500 matches over the course of 2+ years, I agree that it’s not cool to match new players vs veteran players. Especially when it’s a full team of experienced players vs a team of new(er) players.

I disagree. A new player should get to experience the same combat as veterans. It adds to the WW2 experience. I remember when I saw my first Tiger, Stg, etc

Will be not be a problem any time soon™ since they will implement a match maker.

You can check out a lot of news and dev blogs about the upcoming Enlisted

In the new environment of combining campaigns and armies, matchmaking will learn to divide World War II weapons into several stages of development. Depending on the equipment of your soldiers, they will be assigned a conditional rating, and in the first stages of matchmaking where the engine is selecting participants for battle, it will try to assemble a session of participants close to each other in terms of rating.

If there are enough players in the queue willing to enter a battle with weapons/machines close in level of development, the battle will be initiated by taking into account the rating of its participants. If the waiting time is too long, the matchmaker will assemble a classic session without taking ratings into account.

Enlisted newcomers will be able to get used to the game in much more comfortable conditions, while experienced commanders will be able to measure their strength against worthy opponents.
