Better melee animations

I thought of quick takedown animations (max 1s duration) after dealing critical damage to a player. No only they could look cool (like a guy stabbing someone in chest then punching him with great force) but would prevent from people running with knives in houses and killing 5 or 3 people in a row.

In that case the victim wouldn’t be allowed to change character until the animation is done (to take revenge on the attacker in unfair circumstances) [I can’t think of anything else]

Also the overall graphics don’t fit this kind of “cartoony” knives and shovels. They’re sharp and can be painful, actually deadly.
Yes it’s nothing comparable to smgs, but details are also good.

would kinda be cool if when you stab from behind it would grab the soldier and slash the throat from behind or like grab the enemy by the mouth and then stab em through the back 3 times as a “Quiet Takedown Melee” that would be less likely of alerting the group

this melee action could be toggled on by crouching and off by switching to any other pose so you would have to be sneaking up behind the enemy you couldn’t just run in and slash everyone’s throats quickly, it would promote close quarters teamwork for stealthy players since if you have like 3 or more people going stealth you could easily take out an unaware squad from behind before they even realized what was happening :sweat_smile:

also wheres the ghillie suit’s man i don’t think iv seen even a single sniper with a ghillie suit :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

The prison shank they have now is unironically the best melee animation they could use.

That’s the stabbing technique you’re taught to use. Just multiple rapid upward jabs to the gut.
