I hate Ardennes as USA and GER and Rzhev or the new Dday maps are not a campaign for me, they are just new maps…
Why OG Japan/USA isn’t an option for worst campaigns.
yeah i kinda dislike Stalingrad and Pacific ( alligator’s creek, guardal canal etc )
Pacific maps are just CAS heaven and tanks lobbing HE from that mountain.
Burma on the other hand, is peak imo.
as well as the far east one.
the other bad one for me, Is Stalingrad. Nothing wrong with CQC but didn’t lived up to it’s potential.
So many missions missing and the battle of stalingrad wasn’t fought only in the city it self.
as for good ones, nothing beats berlin and normandy ( subjectively of course ).
I love Berlin and Stalingrad the most because in my mind fighting in the city ruins are emblematic of WW2, and the maps give a mix of mid-long range street fighting with close quarters combat in buildings and alleys. Rzhev is also good but has only the one basic map (devs please expand Rzhev to the other side of the river, etc.).
I also have to give an honorable mention to Tunisia, they really capture the hot desert atmosphere well and I love how different and unique all the architecture is compared to all the rest of the maps. Also I love and miss the atmosphere in the zombie event Tunisia map, it had the best lighting. The Enlisted game engine can make very beautiful maps best shown in Tunisia and maybe aesthetically the Pacific maps.

I didn’t know if I should pick the Far East over Stalingrad - I want to play in the Pacific as Japan, but those matches are so God damn rare nowadays, I am starting to resent that campaign because of this…
Burma is the most fun IMO. Far east would be more fun if there were some more map variety. Pacific looks fun, sounds fun but alligator creek is the bane of my life (especially invading as US in assault mode). Gavutu conquest is very fun IMO Guadalcanal can be fun or oppressive.

Burma is Burma, but the OG Jap/USA has the island warfare with the aircraft carriers.

Tunisia winning the votes? I thought it was everyone’s least favourite map.
I do love Moscow and Tunisia the most, I am surprised both are top votes.
What a coincidence both maps are available only in low MM bracket.
It’s not really about real popularity.
For me it is kinda simple.
It is one of the few campains least affected by the sometimes crazy amount of clutter/ random sighblockers just for the sake of blocking line of sights.
As someone who loves tank you really can feel the diffrence in those maps.
The new or reworked maps really increasingly start limiting what they can and cant do.
Bonus points for trees apearing just about everywhere after a position was proven to work.
While some infantry focused maps are fine I dont want every map feel like an urban hellhole with no exeption.
I don’t like Stalingrad and Berlin.
I hate Urban warfare.
