Best Tanker after Dismounting Award

This would be a Battle Hero award and essentially just the Tanker equivalent of the Best Pilot after Parachuting award. It could measure the time after the tank was destroyed as to not count kills after repairing the tank, although that could prevent kills counting if the squad was dismounted before the Tank was destroyed. Why do I suggest it? Because I think it’s a bit odd that Pilots get one and Tanker don’t and it’d be a nice award work for instead of trying to get rid of the left over Tanker squad after the Tank gets destroyed.

Tankers should use their tank, the game should encourage staying in your tank.

Do you see the Best Pilot after Parachuting award as encouring pilots to leave the Plane too?

I mean all it does is encourage players who survive their tank’s death to keep fighting and not just suicide to cycle faster to the next tank.

Yes, although pilots who bail don’t usually have much of a choice unlike tankers.

people leave tank when they have 1-2 crewmates left and tank is damaged. there is no point in staying in tank that is heavily nerfed and easy target for enemy tanks.

And what is the breadth of options available to one person in a broken tank?

Most pilots who bail just jump out, run for 2 minutes then die just so the enemy doesn’t get the pilot kill… i mean this isn’t why but it’s functionally what happens.
