Bf110. 15 seconds into the match. Might want to consider nerfing this one chief.

Rockets definitely seem to be performing extremely well.
On the other hand, rockets might still be needed to take out tanks from the air etc. so perhaps just lowering the deadly radius of the blast might be enough? Unless all those poor guys were sitting on one place all together (which is possible to happen, but impossible to tell because of the horrible render distance for planes)

15 seconds into the match start. They had all just spawned a moment ago, and just lost their spawn protection.

I can consistently get 10 kills within the first moments of a match with these because you have a 100% guarantee the enemy will be in their spawn

I know that, I was witness of that on your stream yesterday. Which made me assume, that those soldiers already managed to move a bit, so those rockets got effectively radius of a bomb.

Other solution probably is to give planes delay before spawning, but that wouldn´t really stop the massacres on or near caps.

Maybe make bombs have large kill area while rockets have small kill area (smaller than grenades) but are easier to aim?
I don’t know how about AP performance but close bomb should also stun tank crew.

These rockets are HE-based rockets with almost double the HE load of the 152mm shell from the KV-2 (10.1kg vs 5.83kg according to war thunder).

?! I thought they had 0,8 kg of explosives. My memory is not the same.
Although rockets produce less shrapnels than normal rounds. And cone of blast is facing to the ground.

You are probably thinking of a different rocket.

BF-110 Rockets could be nerfed a bit so devs don’t make them unusable

I’m not a rocket expert but I never got any infantry kills with IL-2 rockets but I managed to kill a lot of Panzers with those rockets so I think Enlisted rockets behave slightly off

since you brought this up,

i might suggest you to create a suggestion thread, and like, in order to make it balanced and fair, airplanes should spawn a few meters/ miles so that they don’t get killed instantly. but at least, give some time to the infantry to spread out.

my personal thoughts about it, i don’t find it particular over powered, but as like any plany, an utility vehicle.

if used correct, can save the match. if not, it will be preatty much useless in the wrong hands.

Rockets on both ends need a bit of a nerf. They do proper damage against tanks, which is nice to see, but overperform against infantry. Had a game earlier on Le Bré where a single rocket run basically cleared out the entire second-last point. Was an easy victory after that.
