So this br2 guy with 10-8 score was our pilot for the last 8-10 minute of the match, and I was waiting for him to die to take his slot and bomb the 88mm spammers, but appearently he has some kind divine protection and he lived with dead engine and flames till the end of the match, how is this even possible?

american planes are very tanky surprisingly
Recently I had something similar in the practice area.
My plane was on fire, but there was no mention of it on my screen and I was able to continue flying for a long time without any problem from the fire.
