I’m looking for which campaign has the largest and most active playerbase. Every match I get into feels like I’m on a team of bots and getting my shit rocked, Tunisia specifically.

But keep in mind that 90% of players suck ass so it will still feel like playing with bots

I can’t tell you the most active because they all feel the same based on time of day. I can tell you Allied Normandy will give you the biggest fight to play as followed closely by Axis Tunisia for challenge. The easiest road to max level was Axis Normandy then Allied Tunisia or Allied Berlin. Moscow felt the most even but Axis players tried harder when present
Berlin is by far the best, at least for me.
Crazy fast action , but balanced in the sense that a good tanker and good pilot are only side grades to your team and won’t sway the battle like other maps.
I’ve almost finished the long climb to the top with my Soviet campaign there and its been a blast.
My personal experience in East EU server:
1.Moscow
For the current patch, the Soviet are taking extreme advantage over the Germans.
There exists so Oooo many Soviet players and relatively less German players.
If you love early Soviet weapons and tanks, then go for it . BTW, Moscow Soviet has several Lazer gun available for early game players.
2.Berlin
Germans are hard to get to high levels. but once made their way to fg42/2, they will have superior forces than their opponents.
Generally more Soviet players in this server, but you can find situation different in different time periods. From Beijing time morning(like 7:00) to afternoon (17:00), Soviet forces wipe out Germans easily(at this moment most German players are bots or early game players), in the later time periods(from17:00 to some time in midnight) the German forces can be extremely powerful due to end game squads.
Personal advice: play Soviet in the pervious time to level up, and play Germans in the latter period. Grenades and mortars can deal tons of DMG there.
3.Normandy
Germans having advantage but still allies can fight back .
End game Germans are extremely dangerous if they try their best to rush/defend the points.But it seems to me the majority of them are campers and will not “waste” their lives.
In contrast, Ally infantry players are more brave in rushing the point while their tank/plane drivers are often obsessed with wasting times.
Advice: Never trust your teammates if you play Germans, the only things you can trust are your weapons and wisdoms. If you play Allies, then don’t be addicted to their fancy vehicles, or else you won’t win. Infantry squads armed with M2 carbine and big grenade pouches will be the decisive force to win.
4.Tunisia
Engineers are unlocked late.
Intensity of fire is relatively low. Maps are big.
Allies having slight advantage in vehicles and early stage weapons.Italians having a shorter time to occupy a point, and will eventually have balanced weapons with Allies.
Advice: The pace for Ally player should be slow but steady. On the contrary, Axis players should try to blitz their enemies. motos can be extremely helpful for Italians.

from balance of game: Tunisia> Normandy> Berlin >Moscow (this ranking can be controversial) )
from interesting of weaponaries: Berlin> Normandy> Tunisia>(=) Moscow
from easiness to level up: Berlin Soviet> Moscow Soviet >Normandy Germans=Normandy Alies>(=) Tunisia Allies> Berlin Germans >Tunisia Germans>Moscow Germans
from toughness of end game weapons: Berlin Germans> Normandy Germans>Berlin Soviet>(=)Normandy Allies>(=)Moscow Soviet>Moscow Germans>Tunisia allies=Tunisia Axis
Tip at the end : All above are personal experience in East EU Server, not representing the situation of other servers. Also, don’t put too muuch trust on your teammates. Use grenades wisely, and try to understand the advantage side of your army. Be wise, Be brave, then you can win.
Personal Stats: overall 90% win rate, Maxed out(or almost) except Tunisia Allies, 2600 rounds of total gameplay.

Umm, yeah, follow up on what this dude’s book just described. 
It’s klnd of hard to say; a lot depends on what timezone you’re playing in and what time you’re playing at. Berlin I’ll get rocked if I’m playing in the afternoon but, if I’m up late we’ll usually carry it. On the flipside, Tunisia is usually easy during the afternoons

Tunisia axis’s bad rap at this point is largely undeserved. The equipment has never been that skewed, and the playerbase has evened out considerably.

I agree. I play Tunisia Axis a lot lately and it’s actually pretty balanced most of the time. It’s currently my second favorite, just because it’s a nice change of pace. And because engineers are at a premium there, you can get some damned good points just keeping everyone supplied and arriving expeditiously near the front

In my opinion, Normandy has the best aviation in the whole game, especially the Americans. If you like to play on airplanes, Normandy is definitely the best choice.
Normandy has the largest player base, but!
It’s also the most broken, unbalanced and full of “challenged” players. Play this one only if you really like dday setting.

But it still has the least interesting unlocks of all campaings (by alot imo), which is what my post was about
Moscow based.
Normandy has more players (I guess) but has WAY lower skill level and gear is ez play (eihter impenetrable camper tanks or HVAR-suicide BF madness)

If you like to ez farm xps as plane without any efforts, play Normandy.

I have an easier time with the stukas in Moscow than the rockets in Normandy myself. But that’s just down to preference and how used to the controls one is
