In this quote, taken from the book ‘‘Berlin: The Fall 1945’’ written by Antony Beevor, he tells us that the men of the ninth division of paratroopers had their mythical helmets without an edge, so why not add them to enlisted?

‘‘Instead of miracle weapons, the Volkssturm and other improvised units they received useless equipment, such as the Volkshandgranate 45, a " grenade of popular hand" which consisted of a small explosive charge surrounded by a concrete layer and provided with a detonator No. 8. It was more dangerous for who threw it that for its objective’’
Again a quote from the book mentioned above, and it won’t be the last. Enlisted, if you are going to add new grenades in the future, this would not be a bad alternative to the already classic stick grenade.
