Berlin Campaign needs rework

I think its much more a comunity problem. Since kills make the bulk of experience barely anyone goes for objectives. It’s not out of the ordinary having 2/3 of your team try to spawntrap or snip just for kills. A balance to experience for playing the objectives would go a long way.

In a patch two weeks ago, darkflow greatly increased the experience modifier on capture and defend kills. You rightly noted this, but this is not a problem of the community - it is a problem of a pathetic interface and opaque mechanics of gaining experience.

we should just stop playing berlin campaing until they fix it. I think one of the main reasons is the unbalanced tanks at tier 1, the german gets oneshoted all the time and that means 2 players are completly useless while the russians still keep the tankers on the map.In addition, russians get very good weapons with high fire rate so they just go yolo and kill everything, which is a gameplay that is promoted by the nature of the game. Anyone could say (people that have not much idea about the game, like many times happened before: “just keep distance againts the OP russians high rate of fire gun and kill them from far” but sadly this is not viable in a game like enlisted which is plagated with bots so it promotes de yolo style, go ahead and masacre all the bots while they do nothing. ON contrary, if you keep distance, you will kill the bots way slower so its not viable at all

add this that soviet t-34 is completly broken and his armor can bounce sometimes 1 million hits from panther while panther gets one tapted by this soviet gay machine

I agree the kill feed never says “defense zone kill”

Totally true, I don’t understand how a panther struggle to kill a T34 (even a DT5) while they can one shot you in turn…

That could be one of the option. But, rioting and stopping to play sometimes just get you no where… The player who will stop playing only the Germans based. While the Soviets player keep get experience and get better characters and weapon. The OBT for Berlin just started like 1 or 2 weeks ago, but we already see this massive gap between soviet and germans.

Sry to bring it to you, but if you don’t rush this objective in particular you’re doomed. The russians on this objective spawn in plain sight of the germans and you die most of the time the second you spawn and move a bit. It’s crazy you complain about the objective that is a wet dream for the german side. If you hold the first push it gets harder and harder to take it. This objective needs more a tweek to make it possible to take it after the first 30 sec.

That is also the case when German is the attacker (Which is only Bahnof). Most of the time in the map the Germans are spawned either in the plain sight or choke point so it is really easy for the Soviets to spawn trap them. It is just ridiculous that you are dead even in your original spawn point (not rally point).

I ran into situation where german tank spanwn point surrounded with wreckage which force tank to back up, turn around and have to find another path to front, like wtf. They need to rework berlin map especially those spawn point.

yea, the design of the invasion game mode favors attackers in general a lot,
as an axis player I just have to compare my Normandy and Berlin win rate with Moscow.

Berlin has also lots of problems on its own, the T 34 is overperforming compared to its real life counterpart, however T34 85 vs Panther would be “balanced” right now, if we ignored the armor of the T34 glitching a lot, as well as the turret glitch.

would have liked to see PzIV H vs T34-85 being both equally powerful
as well as later Panther vs IS 2

but as long as the gameplay stays balanced, I’m okay with a bit of russian bias.
If they fix the glitchy dmg model of the T34 and if they buff the Panzer IV, the tank to tank combat would be fine again.

Also am I the only one who thinks the Panzerfaust is a bit too powerful? Don’t get me wrong, hitting things is rather hard, still 90% of my hits blow up any tank right away.
Cant imagen a HEAT grenade being more destructive that an actual Anti tank gun.

And then, the most important fatal aspect of berlin is just map design, combined with spawn locations. I am convinced that the German win rate would “explode” if the devs would switch sides and let the axis attack instead.

… The thing is tho, I believe its really difficult to gather data for the game, for balance adjustments if only one side is attacking all the time, cuz buffing axis just because of a low win rate would imply that both axis and allies players are equally capable, which is straight up not true.
Wehraboos are very fragile minded creatures.

If German side has equal amount of real players as allies in every game, I believe the win rate wouldn’t be so low.

I met lots of games where axis players work together and slaugh russains with MG-34, MG-42 or MP-35-I, I believe late german weapons are equally powerful as soviet weapons.

Exactly today on normandy the murican dont pass the first point in d-day in the end i have totalize 87 kill the and i have achieved the 2 position (the first one use a plane so 149 kill) the last one 43 kill nothing is impossible with a small teamwork and cordination

Also while playing soviet it isnt rare to have 3-5 spawn beacons up same time. While playing axis there is only my spawn point.

From my experience playing both Soviets and Germans on Berlin, the win rate seems to be about even. A couple of days I’ve played Soviets, and lost 4-5 times in a row, despite getting first on the team.

There are many points which are very hard to attack (you have to run through an open field or road), and with the increase of some cap point times, I think Germans have a serious map advantage in more cases than not. There are a few points which work for the attackers, but usually those maps will have a capture point later on that is extremely difficult to take.

That’s prove the German players on Berlin are either bots or inexperienced player…
