Maybe its server thing or just campiagn level, but I have complettly diffrent opinion than most of you. I never saw axis defending the bridge, and even ministry is easly taken. Germans have better lmgs, or fg? Maybe, I dunno. Begingin weapons are in soviet favor so much, that there is barly anyone willing to get through that. I certailny wont suffer for hours only to get a decent weapon if I can play other, more pleasurable campaign or game.

Yea well im not into this. Its just lazy on devs side. Its easy to say “hey its balanced because germans are op at late game” while in fact it makes it even more unbalanced. Game should be enjoyable at all levels.
Nah - it is lazy on hte players side.
Any differences in weapons are utterly trivial compared to whether or not a particular campaign is popular and therefore has enough good players - that is by far and away THE determinant of whether one side in a campaign is doing better than the other.
It can be overall, or even just in particular time zones around the world - I find the Soviets in Berlin do better in my evening - if I play during the day the Germans crush them…
The rest of it - whether a M2 is better than a FIAT bambina, or a FG42 can blow better smoke rings than a whatever - those are trivial differences in comparison.
What are the determinants of campaign popularity? Perhaps balance sucks and noone wishes to play it? I certainly wont.
