The soviets have so many machine guns with insanely high reload speeds and mag capacities, maybe the germans should have something to look forward to in their research tree as well.
I dont know if its historically accurate or even realistic, but i was thinking a belt fed mg 42 - similar to the tank mounted mg 34s, but with a 100 round capacity instead of 150. Would this be reasonable?
75 round MG34 is meta for the germans.

Soviet MGs are only easy to use, german MGs are much stronger if you handle them well.

Berlin axis mg are quite balance already, mg42 with belt is something most people demanded, but then they would need to add dp with belt or buff rd44 damage

We already have DP with belt and RD 44 already deals more damage than normal AR at 9.9 vs 9.6 of AR damage since RD 44 fires intermediate cartridge.

They should make it auto deploy when it is able to mount something, and a way to retract it if you dont want to use it
disagree with this, no faction should have the best with anything, this type of balance doesnt work in pacific (m2C vs type 4 rifle) or Normandy (stg vs thompson)
