Which would you prefer then? IS-2 or King Tiger? Because many people would rather grind for the latter and that caused a huge imbalance in playerbase population even if my soldiers are armed with AK-12s with full accessories and T-90M + Ka-52 against full WWII German gear in Berlin don’t mean anything if my teammates are shit.
No broken weapon on the hands of one guy cannot fix the population imbalance like even casuals would prefer King Tiger over IS-2.
The fact that you can acknowledge those weapons are broken is a problem and when the BR goes into effect it’s gonna be even worse when all those weapons are in a full team.
I don’t prefer son, I grind what I like, both tank can be one shotted by Panzerfaust, bombed by planes and many ways to destroy them

Be that way, since is the campaign the soviets has the best of everything compared to any other campaign, so many advantages for them they still drop it to farm bots in Moscow
Casuals prefer Tiger I in Normandy and they still get nuked by P47Ds and P38s, guess US has more balls than the soviets

I think you like to grind German stuff or religiously following the meta so much that you don’t even understand what I’m talking about playerbase imbalance. There are players who just drop the faction on a certain campaign right away after maxing out campaign level besides some players always want to grind something or go after the meta equipment. King Tiger besides meta is an iconic tank that’s being praised by Western documentaries and some people already requested this in the forums prior to the addition. Its also one of the most popular tanks in War Thunder too.
US has more balls? Look at Tunisia how it ended up being a bot farm for Allies like not everyone wants to grind 30+ levels for an MG34 and a Panzer IV that can be unlocked much earlier elsewhere as long as we have the campaigns. Moscow got left in the dark just like Tunisia and Stalingrad where they didn’t get a new level due to Darkflow not doing the new levels for all campaigns instead of just selected campaigns.
I have been calling this out for months already regarding the Soviet playerbase like why noobs like Berlin Soviet so much while the experienced players and veterans weren’t seen much with a part of them ended up playing Germany in Berlin or other campaigns besides people trashing the IS-2 here and Reddit because they are not meta like King Tiger is like how some people in Reddit oppose my request to add T-72A and T-90A for War Thunder because of “not meta” vehicle.
Unfortunately meta for Soviet to unlock their best stuff they have plenty of options where they could get PPSh in Moscow and Stalingrad(especially if have full access) not just Berlin and this annoyed me with Berlin being my favorite campaign like I want to play Berlin Soviet especially for the vehicles but forced me not to due to how stacked Germany is there combined with the lack of skilled Soviet players with teams populated mostly by noobs and bots.
Want me to open another can of worms? Then German engineers in Stalingrad can have Mkb 42(H) that you can equip a whole engineer squad with Mkbs how do you like that huh?

Sorry man but you talk about meta so much that’s sounds like a soviet playerbase or even even a you issue, cuz no matter how dogshite the Pacific campaign is, there is still more Axis Player than Ally player despite the dogshite gear they have compared to the Ally one, same for Berlin,the soviet have all the best soviet gear in Berlin but they abandoned it to farm bots in Moscow, meta? More like people just want to play the easiest way and farm bots
Due the nature of $talingrad map design, I don’t remember the MkB42H(one of the worst version of StG) is that meta compared to a gun that spit 1200+ bullets with double the capacity, also good luck for any new guy playing $talingrad nowadays

That on release had 0.01 dispersion? It is still a very powerful gun, I prefer it over other fast firing smgs.
0.01? Bruh it has 0.6 dispersion, worst of all StGs, and for comparison, Fedorovs has only around 0.2 dispersion and can one shot people in close range

No I just know lunatic in the discord who bankrupted himself on swords when the Pacific came out and he wants to buy multiple pistol swords as well.
End game gear is much better on Axis side compared to the Allies. Smgs (type 100 late with zero recoil + also with 920 rof and free bayonet), tanks (Ho-I and Chi-ha kai) and rifles (type 4 rifle is just better garand). If you hate Axis lmgs you can get multiple FN 1930 gold orders. And i’m not even talking about AT weaponry you can take low lvl type97 rifle and pen every american tank frontally balance is a joke but not for the axis but for the allies.

Just better garand cost 3 silvers, M2 exist and that thing put everything the Japs has meaningless
M2 is only good at a very close range, Type 100 late already does the same thing as your m2 but it can also be used at the mid range due very low recoil. You can actually see people while shooting with that smg unlike with awful m2 sights. So Axis wins again.
Who can hate the type 97? It’s like a poor man’s fg42-2, and the type 96 even gets a bayonet! They have the lowest dispersion of all the lmgs in the game, and very manageable recoil. The only downside is the reduced speed and ads that most lmgs have to deal with. It’s just a shame that with the type 96 we inexplicably can’t use its scope.
