I would be happy to get slapped by 90mm in my tiger as long as i dont have to deal with the broken jumbo. I cant even pen the mg port if the tank is angled 1 degree

AVT 40 only has 1/4 of real recoil due its 0.25 recoil multiplier, you don’t see the gun jump like SVT40 despite is literally the same gun with automatic switch like M1 to M2 Carbine

Who ever said the IS2 is op?
I never really saw a balance problem with the small arms in Berlin, it all depends on the teams you’re up against. Both sides have good options regardless of what kind of gunplay you prefer. If anything I’d say low level Germans are wanting a bit for firepower.
I do feel like the Soviet aircraft selection is anemic: the fighters lack ammunition or decent cas ability, and the bombers perform poorly both aerodynamically and in tank busting. The Germans have a much more well rounded lineup in their hanger. Most dogfights go to whoever gets the first shot.
Soviet tanks are fine; the slow reload on the is2 is a hindrance but it pays off when you get a good shot. I bought the premium Sherman and really enjoyed that, I even took on a few tiger 2s in close quarters by sniping their barrels or getting a lucky flank shot.
Tiger 2s were the bane of my existence, but mostly because the teams were so stacked that I could rarely get close enough to do any damage. That and the fact that destroying one is only a relief for the 30 seconds it takes for the next player to take his place.
Kidding me?
Berlin is axis with full real players and allies with full bots.
And you talking about who has better guns?

The soviet abandoned it, despite having the most shiny toys of every existing campaign
-IL with the best rocket of the game(the 132mm rocket has more blast and damage also more pen than other rockets)
-Fedorovs, AVT40, AS 44 Mod 5, RD44, PPSH41, and has access to Panzerfaust as standarized weapon while germans can’t get a single captured weapon from them
-Start with the T34/85 which is overkill for Pz IV J
-Gets bayonet in an urban combat heavy campaign while germans gets none
-Gets very good Starting gears compared to any other campaign(Mosin M38 and PPS42)
And still their playerbase abandoned it, I mean, how many hand holding they need and how crippled their opponent need to be to make them play the campaign?

Im pretty sure veteran allies left Berlin because they have unlocked everything and there is no point in playing a campaign that you have everything in.
The allies were winning quite a few matches in the first couple of days due to german bot farmers just leaving when faced with actual oppositon but once they got the 2 new levels unlocked they left for campaigns with better maps.
While on the other hand everyone plays axis to get the best equipment possible for the merge (and use the new event weapon) while the soviets can do just that in Moscow instead.
It was the funniest thing seeing players leave the match after dying in their Tiger II (H).

So far i played Battle Of Moscow with Axis won 2 times out of 20 rounds so lost 18 times.
I try to bomb all the tanks & infantry i see. So helping the team does not effect at all.
Am i doing something wrong? Or is this game full with players doing nothing?

In Moscow you can’t get Panzerfaust and any Berlin Ally tanks, is funny, cuz the Soviets gets streamrolled in Berlin after Burning Sky and just stop a moment when RD44s and IS2 1944 is available, despite all their gears are more ciable than the german one for CQC

Panzerfaust is a level 6 unlock and the best tank in Berlin for the soviets is still the T-34-85 which you get as a starter tank, there is litterally no point to grind anything else in Berlin when you can do it in Moscow. 
The merge, best axis equipment in berlin, everyone play axis in berlin, soviets play moscow for best equipment (fedorov).

“Not fun” is one thing. Berlin Allies is a damn dumpster fire right now.
I won’t bother trying to grind that out anymore. It’s just so damn far from fun (due to massive imbalance) that I couldn’t care less. About 1/2 of one level in all campaigns, all factions unfinished… and I’ll leave it be for now.
That combined with the broken campaign format and I’m likely to look to other games for at least a while. Not grinding out 20k points on any weeknight.

Such reloading (though it’s unrealistically fast) makes you not just semi-useful, but also limits your fire maneuverability. I mean, you can’t just start firing at infantry if map has not enough covers for vehicles, so spamming tanks enemy might make you busy and literally decrease your help on cap point or elsewhere. While Tigers may easily give few shots on infantry, moreover when they have quite overbuffed protection

I forgot avt because it’s recoil doesn’t suit it’s trash accuracy and rate of fire. I prefer overwhelm enemy with 12-14 dmg bullets like it’s done with fg/fedorov/mg, than to hit very few times of 15 shots and yell about “beeest rrreeeecoil”

Also forget to mention, im here to not complain about small arms, arti, tank or plane
I complain about map being way too open despite this campaign supposed to be dense urban warfare, house to house clear, not like capture zone in middle street or middle of field. Also about matchmaking (there is none matchmaking i know) that people doesnt have any incentive to hop into soviet allies/moscow axis.
I enjoy getting slaughter by sweat lord but not if there is no resistance. Campaign should be challenging and fun ,not this unbalanced when 1 soviet player against 9 axis player. Even normandy (back in the days, paratrooper update, before merge annoucement) more fun despite getting kick by Fg42 guy, at least i can fight back

Becuz Berlin is trash in all means, including balance and forever AbooSeD reichs having best armament in game except fedorov and il-2. I don’t even mention that pooing with bombs is easier than trying to hit roof of tiger with rocket. Best balance and mapdesign are in Stalingrad and this is only worthy Champaign now in my opinion, despite it lacks new maps

That was Reaper and it was mostly about HMGs on tanks in general because they make his fortresses explode

15 rounds, 0.26 dispersion, 12+ damage per shot at stock, has a bayonet and 1/4 of the recoil? And you can equip 9 rifleman with it compared to 4 Fedorovs…
Is better than FG42 in everyway but I guess soviet players just have no clue about their broken weapons
