The past four days, my power has gone off five times while I was playing Enlisted. It has gone off four days straight, and Sunday the power was off for over ten hours, however I wasn’t booted during Sunday’s black out. Fortunately all five of those unintended desertions I had been playing in my own custom matches so no penalty, otherwise I would have incurred five different desertion penalties.
Just another positive reason for me to play my own custom matches. No desertion penalties, no being dumped onto a map into a game mode I hate and bots that actually build rally points.
It’s less stress as well, as in regular game mode I get pissed at bad team mates and my brain dead shitty bots, in custom mode I only get pissed at my brain dead shitty bots.

… still get those one shot terminator bots thou and bots that drive tanks right into the cp you are defending. But yeah, less stressful xxx

Yeah, the only bots in the game that are any good are computer based terminator bots. They can kill you with one shot, shooting through tree’s and bushes from a 1,000 yards using a pistol.

I couldn’t count how many times I start to shoot at a bot down a staircase only to have that terminator bot leap and bayonet me in a blink of an eye without ever touching a stair step.
I don’t really care if my personal bots can kill, I just want them to stop being stupid and a liability.
I doesn’t matter how big a squad I have, 75% of them will die by doing stupid shit, like standing in doorways or windows, running through the front door instead of entering the way you do, or just ignoring your order to stay and running outside only to be immediately gunned down. And the bots that do survive just continuously move in front of me when I am shooting or throwing a grenade at the enemy.
imo, peak enlisted is through custom matches.
a whole different engaging and fun experience.
not without issues, no doubt.
but still.
peak of what enlisted is.
a semi milsim casual experience with authenticity.

I’ve been playing almost four years now and didn’t play my first custom match until about four months ago. Whether I am playing against a bunch of people or in my own personal custom match, I have far more fun in custom match mode then in regular game mode. I love the fact that I can choose the map and mode I get to play, especially since ever time I choose to play the regular game mode Gaijin gives me the mode I hate damn near every time. Their preferred map/mode crap is worthless.

Also there is the competitive side, and fight against the creator of the match etc. I likes a challenge. Xxx

Yeah, and the difficulty scale can be increased or decreased by the amount of terminator bots you choose to play against. Choose too many and the stress level increases quite significantly.

Yup. And that’s the fun i find in it, when the tides change and im shoutin at the screen “wft! They are just bots damn it!”, then it’s think out the box time. I treat ‘social’ created matches as a practice for the main matches. Remember the created can cover all BR’s so identifying what kinda BR bot your up against helps’, thrn boom the reason for the increased AI sharpness… a real.player has entered the game. Ready player one lol. Soz im rambling spooge, had a few soft dtinks too many with maybe or maybe not a sly shot of vodka… on another note, took dome awesome bot shots today, pure spoon bending magics used inc 2, yes 2 mounds of hillscape! Woah… haha i did laugh at the ‘kill’ cam. Hope you are having a good evening (is in my time) xxx

If you have a premium account then others cannot enter your match without a password, but if you don’t then others can. I have premium now, but I had stopped paying for it for quite a while, only to have paid again last month. So, when you’re playing and an actual other person enters your two man custom match it kind of throws you off as bots are somewhat predictable, people aren’t.
I noticed what I thought were bots were using strategy and thought WTF, are they learning as they go? Then checked the score board and saw that one enemy had as many kills as I did and put two and two together and realized I had an intruder.
That happened about three times in a month a couple months back, and I won two of the three. The one I lost the dude was really good, and one I had won the dude was not good at all.
