Yes and no.

I remember in H&G, BEFORE the option to lock weapons in your own vehicle was implemented, I always had complete retards using the mg… on the enemy tank I was trying to sneak up on with my smaller tank. Needless to say, it signaled my presence quite fast.

So:

  • yes IF the owner of the tank has the ability to lock it
  • No if the owner completely loose control over it and any newby can just jump on top and spray everywhere, stupidly giving the tank’s position away.
