I goofed around all match in my lil clown plane (I-16). Used to be that playing fighter pilot was not only a waste of time, it wasn’t very helpful. Best way to make xp was to be an asshole using HVAR, or a grey zoning tank.
Now there’s another way (making boots on the ground breath a lil)
was a very close match, too.
So you use the ii16 for bomber formations, don’t you find the guns although lots of ammo lack hitting power for formations? I swapped to the lagg3.
Love to know how you take on bombers with i16 mate, how many can you take down, what distance you close to etc
If you don’t mind, please, as fellow i16 fan, it was my go to before bombers even with all that ammo were not taking more than 1-2
At first I was skeptical too.
But found out that around 50 to 100m distance… the bombers MELT from my clown plane concentrated fire!
Have to aim at engines however. Would take too much ammunition to take out the tail (which happens if you just aim at the reticle indicator target thing)
Doing so, I could reliably delete the whole formation of bombers from left to right, even BEFORE they released their payload (but I had to fly in their direction as soon as the markers appeared on the minimap)

I had a lot of fun wasting our time with my E7/U2 in Moscow and we even had a close one. IL still annoying though. Ofc I had no booster here
