It’s almost impossible right now to advance my Battle Pass. There is way too many tasks that make you play a specific campaign. I’m already playing 3 different campaigns, both Allies and Axis in each one. I think that is plenty. I don’t want to spread myself any thinner. I’d like to actually reach a high level in one campaign.
But the game doesn’t let me right now. Every day I’m supposed to play some other campaign. I switch out the task and then I get another campaign, that I don’t play. EVERY DAY. It makes me want to not play anymore.
Yeah, the point capture task has been a pain in my neck for a long time, because it relies on blind luck. If matchmaker assigns you to a Destruction match or make you defender in Invasion or Assault mode, you’re screwed. And there is a high chance for that.
But at least, if you reroll that task, you are guarenteed to get an easy one. I can live with that. It’s not worse than kills with specific weapons.
But this new prevelance of campaign specific tasks just destroys me. I wanted to spend my evening playing Enlisted, but I’ve stopped after one match. Again. For the first time, I might be unable to recoup the gold cost for the BP.
I would take Berlin Soviet over Normandy Allies all day. Atleast Tunisia ones are more tolerable but at times I’m not in the mood to play Tunisia or Pacific.
Its just they need to stop asking for 3 battles on a certain faction and campaign all the time like I don’t want to play Moscow all day when I mainly play Berlin or if I’m grinding something else on another campaign. Another annoying thing is those tasks around during an event focused on the Pacific with the event missions, I have to play Pacific at the time.
Berlin Soviet is my go to campaign for the capture task despite the annoying armored train and destruction maps. Conquest maps would do like Manor in Moscow but they don’t appear much as many players hated conquest to the point that its rare on later campaigns and so far I don’t see a conquest map in Pacific.
Even asking for just 1 battle can be really bad. Let’s say I get a BP task for Stalingrad. I don’t play that at all. I’ve got nothing unlocked. All the soldies are 1 star. All the guns are 1 star. Also I don’t know the maps. So I have to suffer through that 1 match, unless I want to spend a lot of resources on a campaign, that I’m not interested in. And If I’m able to reroll the task, then with my luck I’m probably getting Pacific Axis.
