Battle Pass: Seventh Season of 2025

When campaigns were still a thing we had the option to start flanking and breaking some walls and things like that.

we asked for magazine capacity

different meaning but at same time complementary

hes jst trying to have some unique stuff that at the same time is useful like the APC with a cannon why we only have this while other faction got plenty of other nonsense?

You were saying that mag size got increased because of “limited weapons” which is not true otherwise we would have FG42 II and T20 with 25 rounds by now. And also MG42 200 or 250.

It should’ve been a TT addition with 100 rounds but around that time DF didn’t want to add too many prototype weapons to a TT as they would lose it’s flavour. But now they don’t care and we could easily convert that gun to a TT version.

And there are a lot of buildings that you can use as cover. And it’s not like i will be using more than a single squad with smgs at BR5. I will be only using it as a way of storming and quickly wiping out points and flanks out of enemies. At mid range due very low recoil you still can easily fight vs most ARs only at long range you will suffer.

BF 190K is better but not used as often as it uses same squad as Me262. So you will either get screwed by your teammate using that slot or want to use me262 and not be able to spawn it anyway. Honestly not that many people are using planes as Soviets BR5 so you can easily take two planes of the same type and still be able to spawn them one after another, while for Germany it’s a nope most of the time. Soviet have flexibility while Germany has none of that and too many planes got overtiered.

Insignificant. All other stats are better. You can easier climb, not to crash against pavement and escape from Me262 due your top speed. 30mm is more of a pve grinding weapon while 37mm + 23mm x2 is mostly used in pvp while destroying planes.

Both jest have different tools for completely separate objectives. I will still say that Su-9 is better overall jet vs tanks and planes, while Me262 is much better jet vs infantry.

I never get the point why an exception should be made for BP and event weapons. If TT content can’t balance limited weapon, what can? Lootbox exists, and I know people with 10+ mkb42m and fedorov rifles. Just ask yourself, how many tommy .30 do you have? Why shouldn’t limited weapon be balanced?

TT content obv.

Limited event/premium content should never take role of TT content in terms of balance between factions.

I really have no clue what’s so hard to understand about it.

You know that many Saudi princes? I’m impressed.

Mkb42M is balanced about being a BR4 weapon it will always go against BR5

Fedorov rifle was always only super strong in semi mode, and since not many people want to spam lmb while they can use overbuffed (3 damn times) AVT-40 20.

Tommy .30 was never good

I don’t even know what you’re talking about. I’m talking about when the Soviets didn’t have the AVT 40 20 and people on the forum believed that the 15 magazine was enough for them.

Well, these changes are obviously not very easy for them. I think they have a lot of disagreements within their company.

That’s like saying a weapon has a lot of recoil? Well, that’s okay, lie down, problem solved!
I’m not saying those weapons are bad, I’m just saying they have their purposes. They’re great at close range, and pathetic at long range.

and I’m not looking to argue about planes with you. I’m not going to argue about planes with someone who believes that La7 is powerful in BR5.

I have to strongly disagree here, both the Tommy .30 and Lanchester 50 rds are some of the best BR3 smg. I have 6 and 7 of these (only from event) and I there isn’t any TT Tommy I would play over them.

(I am not saying they are not balanced though, but they are better than anything available in the TT at their BR, at least for USA)

But what event/bp weapon is actually designed as a counter to TT content? I can only think of T34100, old bp T20, and mp41r. I don’t get your grievences because it is often the limited weapon that break the balance, not the other way around. Like what rmn50/Arisaka mortar and xa38 counter to?

I understand what you are saying, I agree Soviet mains can be horrible too, although on the English language forum its not to bad from my experience, have heard bad stories about the Russian forum though. Also, yeah Soviets have some wierd stat atvantages which are really unusual. Buffing Federov for instance was kinda dumb.
My main point is that the extent of Soviet advantage is being exaggerated to a rediculous dergree, the German faction being framed as some kind of victim. I hope you can agree its getting a bit rediculous, which makes the whole debate about increasing the scotti’s ammo about faction strength, instead of a rational change to buff an underwelming weapon.

(small sidenote; the Lewis, halftrack, etc is not a good case of bias, since the Soviet faction has a lack of weapons while USA and Germs have much more. Adding landlease to Soviet and or arms inport weapons Japs therfore makes sence. I would rather see new weapons for USA than a halftrack already in the game, but thats my perspective).

Still very much possible

You’re sort of getting lost in this.

That was never my point. My point was to prevent it. As that’s what he was clearly pushing for.

Not really because they were experimenting with it in the past but then they stopped working on it and focused on more fast-paced gameplay instead of making things more strategic and tactical.

It was never good and will never be good. It has small mag, awful recoil, bad sights and only a bit better dmg per shot. It’s a horrible weapon.

It’s always the best smg you can use at BR3 as USA

I dont know if I agree, I prefer power over large mag on BRIII to be honest Sights are also very nice, especially for a Thompson. Lanchester 50 always feels a bit weak.

I dont understand what you mean. You can still flank in the game and build flanking rallies for an example. The newer maps even have larger greyzones to help with this

I respect a man (edit : Lady) throwing a hand grenade into a forum of angry people and leaving

I mean, it is very easy to silence those German mains. Just release some qol updates like fixing fw190 and adding some fancy new weapons, and ppl will be happy. Also, get rid of body armor so nobody can complain anymore. You can’t blame ppl for “playing victim” when devs are clearly trying to handicap Solothurn anti-tank gun previously and Scotti naval rifle now for no good reason. It’s up to the devs to sway public opinion and dispel “the myth”, and it is not hard.

I don’t think Soviet has a lack of weapons, and they have the most useful event weapons/squads. it’s not difficult to copy paste exisitng lendlease assets to the Allies. US M3 halftrack is literally sitting in the editor. Again, it just shows the negligence on DF’s part. Bias or not, DF is just handing out free talking points. Remember how many years does it take for DF to fix ppsh41 box’s broken dispersion? It can’t be a simple oversight.

We used to have objectives that required breaking through walls or using unique mechanics to call in reinforcements. Now, most objectives just involve rushing straight at them, with little strategy involved. They’ve stopped designing missions that require tactical use of resources or creating new openings through environmental interaction.
