I did some digging, and can confirm that I haven’t seen that specific version of the weapon off-paper either. There’s a possibility that it exists, but I’m skeptical.
It hasn’t stopped the developers from adding weapons such as the PPD and PPSh BraMit, which the models are based off of hypothetical photoshops, but it would be cool if historical references were shared by Gaijin more transparently when the weapons get announced.
Well this one is similar. That specific version of the weapon was not what the designer was trying to make he was trying to make light machine gun that can shoot at aircrafts all the data suggests that. So the most close comparison is the SIG KE 7 more compact version.
The end product have all the features of an LMG. Muzzle brakes or flash hider and Anti Air sight this things are so common on LMGs.

Make the Scotti an LMG for BR 2 instead of a worthless BR 4 or 5 no one will use
Well the one thing it has is good dispersion, which isn’t really what MGs are meant for.
That being said, a 15 rounder MG could deserve selectfire / assault rifle dispersion.

Increase mag size to 25 rounds. Keep rof and lower recoil as it’s too wild. It would still be higher than Fedorov due that rof but it’s fine.
Alternatively lower rof but increase mag size to 30-35 rounds.
Right now this gun is even worse than already horrible Italian BP gun which is Breda PG CR (it also needs a buff).
It can’t compete vs Fedorov, it can’t compete vs AS-44 or STG44 in your arsenal. It’s also much worse than FG42/II. So what’s the point?
Can we have for once powerful BP gun for Germany? We haven’t got one since Conders (already power creeped by two tommies) as G43 Kurz got completely overnerfed.
So yeah German nations have zero good BP guns outside of Mkb35, Suomi and Pavesi m24 which all three are BR2. How about something great for BR5 and BR3?

American would have box 100 round version with 200 (magical) rounds just like Stinger.

Soviets don’t need BP weapons that would improve their arsenal as they are already superior to Germans by default.
But they still got a few amazing or just unique BP weapons that have zero equivalent in German TT or even as BP/Event rewards such are RMN-50, Brammit, Koko Rifle, Yazikov smg, RPK 1943 (BR2 BAR), SVD-38, Bezruchko smg, PPD-1929, LAD, PP 1940, KB-P-135

Well, that’s stupid. Battle Pass is not a place to balance. For example, the Soviets have a severe tank weakness in BR5. You should compensate for such a weakness by adding something decent to TT. Not with events, premium, or Battle Pass.
And I don’t agree at all with your statement that the Soviets are superior. The only major weakness that Germany has that makes them significantly worse than the Soviets is the BR3 semi auto.(and maby BR2 AT gun?) In contrast, the Soviets don’t have a decent tank in BR5 and a decent LMG in most BRs. Also, their planes in BR3 to BR5 are crap.
Also, the only thing I accept from this list is the RMN50 and SVD 38, The rest exist as similar things for Germany. on the other hand, Germany also has a lot of unique things.
