Yes because whenever these type of topics came up he always keeps talking about how this is a casual game when this game originally was a strategic game and actually encourage you to think and think about tactics.

I design my mods to have a slower pace of gameplay (slower reloads, swap speed, ads, etc) because i think it makes the game more thoughtful. You can’t just rush the point. You need to think about how to win, build with engis, flank, etc. I find the game more enjoyable and dynamic. I find that when I need to think carefully about how to play, I have more fun, and teamplay is encouraged.

We can’t have that as average skill level of players is lower than bots, they also can’t gasp simple concepts as equipping demo pack or tnt and blowing up walls it’s too smart for their tiny brains. It’s always the lowest common denominator that brings us down and game design and game’s limitations.

And thanks to those people we are stuck with the arbitrary balancing for the Soviets and the allies to overcompensate for the lack of intelligence and if any of us play for the Soviets or the allies the game becomes absolutely boring.
Forgot to mention. Defending (german) engis get like double the supplies with expanded build limits (18-20 sandbags and barbed wire, 12-14 tanktraps, 2 mgs, etc…) in the engi squad, each engineer has 6 ap mines, with one guy having 8 at mines. That squad is one of the few with mines. Attackers get no mines.
An easy way to fix that problem for the allies if they have more aggressive flanking options or some special bonuses they can get by doing certain things.
And I have a feeling if we start talking about this more we will go into our own little world so we may want to make another topic just talking about it and promoting more strategic gameplay instead of hijacking this thread.
You need points to unlock certain squads (tanks, apcs, etc…) teamplay helps. Reviving allies is faster than letting them heal themselves, and you get points. You need to coordinate as objective 2 is almost impossible to take without arty, and obj4, the allies dont get their tanks, so strategic thinking is needed.

The .30 Thompson is the most OP SMG in BR3.
Other SMGs can fight up to 50m and that can fight up to 100m.
But it’s not a weak weapon even in close combat.
If to pick the top SMG in BR3
.30 Thompson > MP41(r) > PPSh41(box) > Type 100 Late(Sadly nerfed) >= Automatico(BR2) >>>> other Thompson
