There’s been a lot of talk about potential future additions to battle passes and premium squads. I thought I’d make a compilation of weapons I’ve come across in books I’ve read, or journals I’ve come across online.
Note that some of these weapons never entered serial production, but every weapon here had at least one functioning prototype. I know that isn’t enough for some of you, but it seems to be enough to get several weapons in game. That being said, I’ll take semi-authentic variety over super strict, small gun rosters.
Anyway! I intend to follow with suggestions for further campaigns if you’d like them!
Russia
PPT-28
- A development of the PPT-27 (which exists in-game in a premium squad)
- Fired a similar cartridge, but had a slightly higher powder charge increasing muzzle velocity
- Rate of fire was reduced from ~1200 to ~900. Less DPS but more controllable
- 25 round magazine
PPT-30
- Functionally identical to the PPT-28, but fired from a closed bolt
- Potential for one to be Battle Pass and one to be premium, virtually identical
PDM-42
- Similar to the PPS-42, but lost the production contract due to a complicated production process
TK pistol
- .25 ACP cartridge
- Small damage but virtually zero recoil
Germany
MP-36
- Predecessor to later SMGs, in particular the MP-40
- Essentially an MP-40 with a select fire switch: auto/semi-auto
MP 715(r) and MP 716(r)
- PPD-38 and PPD-40 captured in battle and used in German service
P.615(r)
- Captured Tokarev TT-33
MG39Rh
- Prototype developed in 1937, at least one example was produced and tested
- 7.92 Mauser, belt-fed, with a folding bipod
NB: Drilling with its additional third barrel would be nice.
