Battle Pass: Fifth Season of 2026

I’m playing BO in br2 and br3 (so, sometimes against br4).
And just after the merge, I played a lot of game in br5 with BO. But now I stay in Br3 (Axis, Allies and Japon) and br2 (Soviets).

Why? Because I can use cool stuff, HA équipements (as I can), and I’ve fun.

I think the main reason is simply that it’s a Japanese weapon.
I don’t know why Japanese vehicles don’t appear all that often, but whenever they do, they’re always top-tier—and this has always been the case.
Still, right now the most important thing is to close off the uptier access to BR1.

The gap between BR2 and BR1 is getting wider and wider.
Now 75mm guns are everywhere in BR2, yet 75mm cannons are not allowed to show up in BR1 at all.
What else can you even say? Without proper protection and balance, who would still want to keep playing?

You dont understand Adamnpee BR II is his favorite BR  :joy:  and he never plays bolt -action but he is complaining about power creep all the time and specially in BR II SMGs and now this so you can imagine the :salt: :salt: :salt: :joy:

lmao and here i am using 1 of these on my br5 guerilla for fun. Honestly I am having a “blast” (lol) of a time while people just argue about balance. It great when i dont have to care about it ngl.

BR3 completely overpowering BR2 is indeed a real problem.

Even so, BR3 is still the most popular bracket in the game right now. Once you’ve mained BR3, dropping down to BR2 is still a miserable experience. If you go up to BR4 and BR5, the progression jumps way too fast and it’s hard to keep up.

I’ve already maxed out all tech lines. Now I just want to use my premium squads to grind credits and play casually.

With this new weapon added, maybe we’ll get another decent BR2 armament in the future?

Still, I honestly think BR1 needs to be locked off entirely.

BR II for Japan specially is super bad since there is not many vehicles but since the core gameplay of BR II is SMGs its literally 3 SMGs used all the time and since they are so much better then all other guns Germany suffers the most despite having everything else good specially vehicles. Japan lacks vehicles but since they have one of those 3 top SMGs they can just rush the points. In general BR II is very heavy SMG focus since the LMGs even suck compared to this 3 SMGs. Hope they lower at least my Type 99 LMG to BR II :

Move Type 99 LMG :arrow_forward: BR II - Suggestions / Battle Rating - Enlisted — official forum

There is some event weapons that are fun but mostly is PPS, Thompson and Type 100 spam. But Germany have many interesting vehicles Japan has like only 2 one prototype Zero and Ho-I even there is no reason really to play Ho-Ni III. But with Germany there is a lot of cool vehicles and LMGs however the SMGs suck and thats the most important weapon for BR II.

Alright, honestly BR2 really needs a buff.
But the problem is BR1 would get affected by BR2, plus BR1 isn’t allowed to have any 75mm-caliber tanks at all.

You see? It’s a real dilemma.
On one side you have BR1 with paper-thin vehicles that get wiped out instantly.
On the other side, BR3 has overwhelming, oppressive firepower.

That’s why BR2 gets forgotten most of the time.
Nearly all the new content goes straight to BR3—except for Soviet vehicles.
They get unfairly shoved all the way into BR4.
It’s just a deadly meta where German squads with five machine guns can spawn all at once.

So here’s my take: just drop open-topped, turretless tank destroyers like the Marder, SU-76, and Alecto straight into BR1.
Then lock the matchmaking so players in BR1 no longer get matched against BR2.

After that, BR2 can get full overall buffs to properly stand up to BR3’s firepower.
Then there’d even be solid reasoning for my poll proposal to lower the battle rating of the Type 3 Chi-Nu and Type 3 Chi-Nu Kai.

Besides, most people who play BR1 are either casual veterans chilling out or total newbies.
This kind of lock would give them a relaxed, laid-back environment—like a safe retirement zone.

That’s sad tbh good luck.

Alright, it seems I don’t need to say anything more; everyone has already provided many helpful suggestions. Now I’d like to ask the forum moderators, what will next month’s paid historical collectibles series be like? Will there be collectibles from both the Allies and the Axis powers? Will there be any discounts? I’m really looking forward to it.

My favorite BR is BR4.

But okay, lol. At least I can see that you’re eager to spread total nonsense just to justify your bias, lol.

Not to mention. As for BR2, I prefer BAs over semis. So, factually speaking, you didn’t get a single thing right.

You must have taken it really personally if you’re willing to post such nonsense instead of coming up with at least one relevant argument. Pathetic.

Anyway, I’m not going to waste any more time on you. You’re clearly one of those people who think they can prove their point by spamming lies and nonsense.
I really don’t intend to waste my time on people like that.

BR4? BR4? Do you main German machine gun squads?
From what I know, BR4 basically gets completely crushed by BR5.

Yeah, that’s true. In some ways it’s indeed better than all the BR2 weapons.

Even though it isn’t semi-automatic, with Japanese weapons getting more and more buffs lately, if they also give this weapon a no scope drift when firing buff, its strength would far outclass every other BR2 event weapon.

There’s something that’s been really bugging me lately.

It’s honestly pretty strange. Everyone on the forum seems to have this soft spot for Japanese faction content. Any buffs and balance suggestions for Japan get approved and implemented extremely quickly.

Compare that to suggestions for Germany, the Soviet Union, and general game improvements — the difference is night and day.

I reckon if an actual Japanese player made suggestions, they’d probably get way better results than us.

All I can say about this is that it’s a BP weapon, and it’ll be really hard to pull from crates later on. Once the weapon pool gets diluted over time, the chances of ever running into it will be super low.

Still, whether you come up against it or not makes a world of difference. When I’m playing Soviet BR3 Manchuria and go up against a skilled Japanese player using that field-modified mortar, it’s absolutely devastating for our entire team.

Practically every Japanese weapon is overtuned; they’re almost never bad. By contrast, American and Soviet weapons can be hit or miss, you just get garbage ones sometimes.

Though America’s event weapons are really good.

Poor Soviets, I feel bad for them.

Okay, stop praising Soviet weapons. Just a few days ago I was debating with my Russian friend about the KV-2 tank’s capabilities among the three major blocs, and now you’re saying Soviet weapons are weak. It’s always the same old thing; can’t you come up with something different? :expressionless:

Its skill ceiling is high, but the floor is also really low.

Sure, its firepower is great, but you need to group the bombs together to make it count.

What do you do when there aren’t many enemies left? The slow reload also makes you miss plenty of opportunities.

The KV-2 has a machine gun and heavy armor, and it can be used for sniping in dark areas, with infantry and snipers protecting it while it reloads. So you’re just speculating, not stating a fact.

Whenever I encounter it, the KV-2 always hides in a restricted area with limited access and ambushes. Don’t ask me how I know; it’s from my own experience. And since most beginners don’t have anti-tank weapons, the enemy usually wins by sniping.

I do play BR4 quite often, Kiraly and Panther can hold their own in BR5 matches - which is however the issue, since BR4 almost always gets matched with BR5.

Depends, armaguerra or G41 that need two shots to down against armor? Might aswell use a pistol, those reload faster.

BR2 Fedorov rifle? 5 round yes, but 15+ damage.

Still in the right hands, a top meta bolt action can still compete in even BR5 if you are truly god like with your shots, because top bolt actions have something other guns dont have: almost non existing dispersion combined with full one hit kills. Nothing is snappier than that.
