Battle pass and in game purchases ruin the game.
the community voted for “Free to play” so this is what we got.
I would like to pay 1 time but, the majority want this.
Do you want to elaborate on why you think this or just put a single sentence that will lead to absolutely nothing?
It’s too bad most people here in forums appear to be poor. I would much rather pay a one-time fee for a solid non P2W game but here we are.
Just to give a counter opinion, I actually really like the fact it’s free to play. Yeah the grind is real but I don’t think it’s P2W. Like, i wouldn’t have found this game if it had a £30-£70 price tag
The sun is shining today.
Based and sun-pilled
Even F2P title can easily live without gambling (logistics and perks, aka implementation of system that benefits from psychological weakness of some people that is highly immoral) or P2W (campaign levels with objectively better gear, too strong premium squads, or buying all upgrades in each squads outright which gives you another big advantage over F2P). I assume you were around here when monetization outrage happened upon its introduction, and then you should be aware that community proposed a lot of different suggestions or adjustments how to stop and replace this.
100%!! I was just typing up a reply when I saw yours. ALSO on top of a majority of people not playing it due to having to pay for it we need to remember the developers would add in the Premium squads, premium time, battle pass on top of us now paying for the game outright.
Thing is the amount of free order (and at some point even the stuff locked behind BP purchase) is way too low for two campaigns, at some point even for two factions.
Thanks to stupid RNGesus in the logistics bronze orders for soldiers is a pain in the ass and somehow you always end with soldiers you dont want or need (aka the 50 pilots in reserve). At least give us the ability to select the type of 1-star soldier with bronze orders we ACTUALLY want.
I doubt that they knew how badly Gaijin will implement monetisation… This is mobile-level BS not comparable to (PC) market leading competition.
Developer is not Gaijin it’s darkflow. Gaijin is only the producer …
Gaijin is a publisher but yes. That means Gaijin decides finances and most likely has a final word on everything.
Yes. Personally I am categorically against any free game model as it will always have consequences such as cheats, toxic gameplay, wierd community, and lots lots of microtransactions.
I have zero doubts that gaijin have fingers in that because of having privilege of being publisher.
Monetization often feels like WT naval forces… just worse.
