Battle of stalingrad

I’ve suggested this a couple of times already, so I guess it wouldn’t hurt to emphasize it again.

Stalingrad needs more maps. A battle as iconic as this one really needs more love. Of the older campaigns, it has the fewest maps. So I’d like to suggest a few locations that should be in the game.

1.Crossing the Volga River

3.Siege of Red October

4.Mamayev kurgan

5.pavlov house

6.Gumrak Airfield

Some of these images come from the Easy Red video game; I’ve included them to give an idea of what these locations might look like in Enlisted. Although Stalingrad is recreated in its entirety in that game, I’d love to see these same locations in Enlisted, because if there’s one thing I admire and highlight about the game’s developers, it’s the level of detail and dedication they put into map design.

An additional bonus, a snowy version of the city center wouldn’t hurt at all.

I’ve been waiting for a snowy version too. What we currently have it’s a strange mixture of what seems to be the city during late autumn mixed with winter only for the factory map and Rzhev. Which makes it difficult when equipping snow camo as you never know which map you’re gonna get. I also wish they could implement passageways like sewers similar to Saint Lo map, or any sort of underground passage. This would be excellent for flanking and avoiding enemy fire from snipers and tanks.

Wasn’t it just like a tall house overlooking a big field

I seriously doubt that they don’t have the ability to create new maps. They also don’t have the ability to improve the old maps.

They can do it, but out of all the pending stuff they need to work on. It seems like map creation it’s at the bottom of their list. We’re lucky if we get two new maps a year. This is why I think the company’s attitude of being hostile towards modders in the case of Baszi, for example, and not providing tools for custom map creators is working against them and the whole community. If these guys cared, they could simply collaborate with the community and invite map developers into a sort of contest and pick winners for the best maps. Having an active modding scene helps games in the long run, specially when it comes to filling areas where the main creators are lacking.

When it comes to reworking maps, I love what they recently did with Seelow Heights with the last update. So I’m sure they can achieve great things, it’s just that they don’t care enough.

No money in making maps since they
can’t sell them. Their focus is on skins,
squads and weapons, which they offer
to us for nominal fee.
