So just general question by new guy: why axis suck so much?
played like 15 games and all wiped ass by allies. Is there smtg wrong with them?
I just finished the grind as the Germans and am now fighting for the Soviets (sorry). What I found with the Germans was a lack of high level or team players which caused me to play EXTREME try hard mode to carry which still netted maybe a 60/40 win ratio. Not sure where all the Axis mains are but this weekend the Soviets have been on a steam roll
The Germans have very good equipment so its definitely a player base issue this weekend but youll notice people migrate from team to team depending on grind

listen just build a good rally point and believe me that will be enough to beat the allies.
Not really if half of your team still spawns back from main spawn (despite having rally point midway to cap point), which idicate they are either bots or just bad players.

The main problem is a lack of players and the good equipment being late in the campaign. Have been doing some berlin soviets lately, I am lvl 24 and have seen maybe 2 guys that had unlocked the first FG

Ill tell you why no one gives a fuck about berlin anymore.
Everyone unlocked everything on axis.
The current stuff that we have got stale and people got bored. Then they saw that STG44 in Normandy so they switched there.
So when STG44 gets added into Berlin soviets will get steamrolled no doubt.
Crossing my fingers that this new battle pass has new levels.

in general german early equipment kinda sucks, which they usually make up for in later stages
meaning in a game with mostly newer players allies have advantage
and german players are generally known to be not the brightest

Hell yeah I’ll be back to the Germans in force when the StG is added. It should be assault 3s weapon. I just grinded the soviets because I was done with the German grind lol

Yes and we will all grind against the 2 new soviet players and bots until our StGs are unlocked. It will be like Normandy when the Panther and MP43 was added for the first week

For your own sanity, don’t play axis Berlin now.
Not until STG44 and player come back
or until dev take the time to look at win rate of campaign (or Tunisia especially) and realize it’s bullshit

I don’t think the team has anything to do with it.
People just naturally like to win, if they don’t think they will, they won’t play.
I had a match on Tunisia Axis earlier, when we finally took the first cap, we only had like 400 tickets for point two, but when we took that, and Point three pretty soon after, the allies just “disconnected”.
Alot of my clutch matches are usually when the enemy team ragequits because they wanted an easy win.
Long story short - Soviets seem better, so Nobody wants to play losing side.

There are few reasons why:
- Most of players will choose Soviets as they were historically superior in comparison with German Volkssturm and Superiority is cool.
- While Soviets appear only in two scenarios, Germans appear in all of them, that makes lower amount of “german” players, as who wants to play the same side in all four scenarios.
- Becouse Germans appear in all scenarios, many weapons appear in other scenarios and that makes Germans in all scenarios very similar.
- Germans use in this campain bad weaponry in comparison with Soviets. Mp 3008 is much worse than PPS-42. Pz.4 J is worse than T-34-85. Bayonets and easier to get semi-auto sniper rifles for Soviets make them more elastic in tactics you can choose. Of course Germany have good guns as MG-42 or FG-42, but they are high level and many players might just give up before getting good weapons.

You make a good point. The Germans late game equipment like the MG34 with 75 rounds, the FG42 II, panther and soon the StG44 are all crazy strong but the soviets have better weapons earlier atleast SMG wise most of the rest is equal. The panther beats the T34 but the T34 beats the Panzer. It just seems the late game Germans are else where right now probably in Normandy or Moscow

Yeah, i think im just gonna stick with allies atm. Much easier to lvl up. Gonna wait for better days for axis

Yeah on tunisia axis suffer too. I tried couple of times, then went for allies. Easy 4/5 wins
which is a player base issue since any side can win no matter the equipment if players are good enough
POV: STG44 is a golden weapon
What I hate the most is connecting into the server as a Germans at Berlin Campaign and I spawn in the middle of the battle while my team is getting ass-kicked badly. I can take a defeat but seriously, let me fight from the begining.

It’s mostly issues with one side having more players. Tunisia has this problem really bad. When Tunisia first launched, things were relatively even, but now, allies almost always win. I think what happened was that many Tunisia axis players left to play other campaigns, perhaps due to Tunisia’s currently limited selection of maps, this caused the allies to win more often, and since people do not like to lose, this caused more people to leave the Tunisia axis and the vicious cycle continued until virtually no one plays one side. Something similar probably happened to the Berlin axis
