There should be a Battle Hero achievement for the Offense team for most bombs planted (Bomber, Demolitions Expert, etc), as well as Defense team for most bomb diffusals (Protector, Guardian, etc). There should also be points on a ticker for planting/diffusing, similar to (and as a bonus to) current capture points awarded, which can be used to determine who gets the Battle Hero for each side. As it stands, you are only rewarded for being in the vicinity of the bomb when it explodes, which only awards Offense team, and even then, not necesarily the person(s) who actually planted all the bombs either.

I also think, that successfully planting the bomb should counts as a point capture for the BP task
