Like this is business 101 smh
I’m barely seeing any advertisment of Enlisted, especially because of how huge the Pacific update is but …
No twitch drops, no sponsoring of YouTubers for the upcoming update,no ads on YouTube or anywhere, even the Stalingrad update had a better ad campaign
I know it’s better to work on bettering your product instead of just drawing more new players to the game but there’s a point that it becomes ridiculous for the lack of advertisment and consequently, popularity it can get
Honestly this situation is worrisome for the state of the game.

The fact that they released it 13 days before the end of the current battle pass also doesn’t make sense. Everything feels rushed for some reason. Like they ran out of time or something.

The release on a Wednesday of all days seems odd to me. Maybe they wanted to get a few full weekdays in for bugs and such.
Its crazy that this came with no warning or Ads.
Hopefully they promote it more so we can help increase the playerbase.

Tbh it feels like they released it by accident and said “fuck it, let’s go with the flow”.

they just released a war thunder style trailer.
next, in the upcoming days will be some key drop for total access like happened on stalingrad,
and/or we will have a twitch drop.
which i can show one reward from the twitch drop as it’s named that in the editor:
Seems very plausible as there are a lot of little insignificant bugs such as wrong UI bugs, it feels rushed but surprisingly doesn’t affect the overall experience

Devs getting called to arms and released it by accident(?)
I mean, not really because this lack of organization and advertising is a constant in enlisted dev team, but trying to find any excuse.
Campaign seems unpolished, and many other changes from the update were completely un-announced (sound changes, addition of banzai charge to all campaigns…)
The battlepass ends in October, and September marks the end of the third fiscal quarter of the year. If anything I’d bet that influenced the release timing.
I blame the accountants

It makes sense if you think about it:
This is the last weekend of Q3;
Release mid-week so you have a few days to hot-fix any major bugs;
boost player count with streamers offering twitch drops over the weekend, and/or a 3-5 day in-game event with sword and vehicle rewards;
show high year-over-year increase in players and revenue on Q3 financial reports;
profit

I also think, it is part of usual software development, launch as good as they can and iterate, people help identify bugs and balance issues they then re-update pacific.
