đź›  Barbed Wire Fix

Restrict barbed wire placement to diggable terrain only.

Barbed wire entanglements such as the ones in the game were supposed to be anchored in soft ground (soil, grass, sand). Hammering wooden stakes into concrete, solid rock, or wooden floors is absurd. Therefore, their deployment should be restricted strictly to diggable terrain.

how else would teammates block us from getting to the objectives if it gets reduced to soft terrain?

I don’t care about impostors.

No. This isn’t a direct representation of real life.

Yeah, 3-legged wooden crosses can also just sit on flat(ish) terrain such as concrete, they don’t have to be embedded in the ground. Easier to move, sure, but you’ll be being shot at while you’re trying to re-situate the barbed wire wood tripods.

What are you going to ask devs to “fix” tomorrow? That the soldiers slip when they step in mud while running? lmao

Just so you know, none of these are stakes driven into the ground, and hence make perfect sense on any surface.

Or are you suggesting that any barbed wire that is driven down should also fowl the tracks of tanks require repairs?

You can put wires everywhere, even loose ones will slow infantry.

So what?

Not in this game.

Please take a look at the screenshots I provided for this suggestion.

no, it’s not… that picture shows that barbed wire was able to be placed anywhere… you can pick at stuff like the stakes being on concrete… still they just serve to make it more neat and not messy.

How is this not off-topic?

In concrete.

How is this neat to you?

No, do you?

Ok. make it so they sit above the concrete… your meaningless problem solved.

It is not possible in the game right now. Also, what’s the point of setting a picketed wire obstacle on a hard surface, such as concrete?

It is not a meaningless problem, as it is breaking both immersion and gameplay.

You’re playing the wrong game if you care about immersion.
