You want to nerf it… which have you given an example? Dig up some historical documents for the reasoning for the nerf as for every other change related to weapons that’s what’s required.

Isnt ZB and Bren LMG basically mechanically the same weapon? I doubt it would have significantly higher RPM. Though… 8mm Mauser does have more pressure than 303 british… so maybe it actually does fire faster? Hmmm…

That is absolutely true for BR 3.
While the shermans have less pen than the panzer 4s they have basicly everyting else better plus only face piss poor armored tanks so even that disadvantage is less of an issue. So only when you get into an up tier do US tanks start to fall off.

So just saying germany has better tank than US as a blanket statement is factually incorrect.

At BR3 the U.S. 100% has better tanks

You have encountered the very same problem as the US Army. The BAR is not designed to fill the role of a traditional LMG, like the ZB-26, and instead is a far more offensively oriented weapon, at which it excels.

Also the ZB-26 is already not being used, why nerf it further?

The BR 4 M1941 Johnson LMG has the same RoF and damage as the BR 4 MG 42, except it has more than double the vertical recoil and less than half the magazine size.
The BR 3 MG 34 has 800 RoF and 50 rounds, BR 3 BARs have 600 RoF, 20 rounds, and double the recoil per shot.

Then just downtier the Johnson so it can be used at br3. The BAR A2’s better than it in most aspects anyways
