Bahnhoff conquest game - "C" always loses?

Playing a few games of conquest in hte train station - Bahnhof??

Anyway - seems to me that whicever side starts near “C” loses - or at least haasd a majot handicap to overcome… today and yesterday were the first times I’ve done so as Soviet - haven’t won a single game - some have been utterly pathetic efforts by the Sov’s - lost every cap and never got them back in a couple - very short couple of games!

Which got me to thinking that Sov’s always used to spawn near siode A and I considered it a pretty good map … it’s always better to get het benefit of a dodgy map than be on the wrong side of it!

not true. played that map like 100 times and won atleast 3 times while starting near c point:D Its only 95% of matches that end at horrible spawn rape

Well I did qualify it in the text as “or at least has a majot (sic) handicap” - those majot handicaps are pretty bad…

yes that map is just worst conquest in game

Wilhelmstrasse and Heringstrasse are much worse.

Btw, I like Bahnhoff playing as both sides. Idk what’s the problem.

The most severe problem for this map is not actually the map iteself. Tha map is a decent small map without having to walk a long way.
But due to 3min matchmaking time, cause one side’s human entered much later than other side, cause spawn camping.

Worst conquest map? I find swamp much worse but Lehter Bahnhoff conquest feels dirty at times because you can easily spawn rape at B side, even with the recent update where Soviets can start at the C side, they can spawn rape A side too once they get B while some other guys have rally points on various locations.

That’s a joke, right? You need to put a smilie on it so no one will take it seriously…

The problem is as outlined - reading that would be a place to start understanding the problem.

What is the bias in swamp?

Sure Bahnhoff is a small map without too much walking - that is entirely NOT THE POINT!

The point is does it have an inherent bias?

Hopefully the map designers are looking at the overall win/lose stats, and how much changes like the Sov’s starting at C change things… and if there is a bias then they see it and change something… but we don’t get to see that unless they choose to tell us.

Nope it doesn’t. I win it playing as germans literally as much as I win it as soviets. Sorry bro, no bias, no suffering germans.

I don’t play German, and I am not claiming bias based on nationality.

I win when I start at A, lose when I start at C - my anecdotal evidence is just as valid as yours.

But given the sample of comments in this thread - yours and another suggests no bias, 2 others suggest bias against whichever side starts at C - the weight of annecdotal evidence (so far) suggests you are wrong.

I don’t think the problem is starting from c or a the map is perfectly specular, the win lose rate is 50/50, the problem here perhaps lies not in the starting point but in the starting spawns, the attacker in this case with more space maneuver by spawning outside and near to a are being able to go around the building and reach c from several sides, instead the defender already finds himself in the interior and has a direct path towards c ending up several times as happened to me in the crossfire from front and right, as far as concerns b the defender should have an advantage as it is difficult for the attacker to reach him.
to conclude as said by @24811726 the map is clearly in the advantage of the attacker by giving him more paths even if it is not impossible to win as a defender requires a control of the developers on the spawns
