First of all, it’s a mess room, not suggestions. So don’t shout at me.
I’m just curious what ppl think.
I was wondering that maybe paras could have quite bad weapons as default and would get their “good guns” from the crate.
I have in mind sth like the Battle Duck Hunt of Crete scenario.
I don’t have paras so it’s an idea that disregards game balance. I’m just curious.
well, paras do kinda have bad weapons both from crates and starter with.
in my personal opinion, a good way to balance them would be, leave the ability to spawn with only forced weapons, and through crates, the ability to use customized loadouts with weapons that you have unlocked and changed like a normal squad in the management system.
although, do not allow to change the disposition of classes.
only what weapons those profile have.
( but i don’t think that would be possible since loadouts are hard coded and not client side. but i could be wrong )
so for example, the engineer still locked for the mortar loadout but the ability to choose weapons for the various units and what not.
even though, i’m somewhat fine with what they have, i can manage.
but again, they could be putted to much better used ( and inevitably be somewhat more effective than they somewhat are. so dunno )
Yeah, but you are unable to have ammo backpack so you have only two mags. They disappear very quickly.
Btw changing your primary weapon shouldn’t be a thing for paras, it would be annoying. In most of the cases I don’t even care about parabox. The only good thing there is mg or engineer.
My guess is we will be able to chose starting equipment and maybe even what will come out of the crate with regular tech tree paras… if there’s ever any, and not just event ones.
I’m basig myself on the Mohawks guys, and the Pacific USA guys.
Both teams have weapons boxes coming down with different pre set loadouts…
But both will be in the same faction after the conversion.
Maybe what’s come out of the crate will be subject to the same br limitations, and players will be able to customize it (for eventual regular tech tree squads)
